Thanks Mike- Rear wheel carrier got to be soon - the squeak from rear wheel on the door is getting too much. The remap was the best decision I made!

My TD5 had a wheel carrier when I got it, but it was only a couple of years old and rusty. It also continually came loose and ‘clonked’ a lot which was even more apparent when I soundproofed the vehicle. The ORE carrier fitted my NAS step fine. Then.... I put in a double din head unit and realised it had a connection for a reverse camera. So one thing led to another. Reversing sensors whilst I was at it, then this week focal speakers, tweeters and an Alpine subwoofer. And so it continues! But I love it, I’m learning too which is part of the enjoyment. I’m fortunate to have a few cars but use my TD5 more than anything else! Ok it’s modified but the local farmers still do ‘the wave’! 😂

Haha sounds like a beast! I’m keen to do the double DIN upgrade myself

Glad you’re enjoying the videos- it does seem that way with their wheel carriers- always selling out. They do look solid though, it’s on the list as I can’t bear the squeaks of the rear wheel anymore!

😂 so sad that the first thing we have to think about is people stealing things but I understand what you’re saying. Vinyl Reg on the vents could be good-think it would clean up the front end a bit more!

@@thedoctorsgarage Yeah , the more you attractive you make a defender the more attention it draws sadly . Security always has to be uppermost in your thoughts with everything you do with them. I have my reg on the vent flap and personally prefer it there . But mine is set up for more off road than road use.

I agree on both points! Not a fan of the plate being on the vent

I think legally it's fine to have anywhere on the front as long as it's near vertical- so could have it on a roof rack or vent mount
