I think one of the main functions of the onion holder is missed in this video: after chopping the onions one way, you can turn it 90 degrees and then chop into into smaller pieces more easily while continuing to hold it in place with the holder.

Those goggles don’t even make sense anyway, lol. The reason we cry when we cut onions is because our nasal system is connected to our eyes. You’d need nose plugs 😂 (also that was really unnecessary and probably annoying but I feel the need to always correct people lol)

all the chopping this would be extremely helpful to a lot of disabled people like myself who cant handle knives safely or with ease!!! dont forget this kind if stuff is usually made with disabled and old people in mind so its always useful to someone!!!

They are a necessity for people to have a heart of time cutting. Plus you can leave the stuff in the bowl when you don’t need it yet. Lots of people have trouble cutting uniformly.

To be honest, you missed one big bonus with the “comb”!! Since the slices are stuck to the comb, you can simply rotate it a quarter and slice again for cubes.. thats what i do with my version of comb.. so yeah useful for same sized slices but mostly helpful since you can cube a half onion in one go (yeah i know the keep the bottom and preslice method too)

The onion holder is not for slicing... it makes chopping easier! I've been using it for over 10 years and love it!

It's worth mentioning.. I have that Muller Onion chopper pro and it's terrible. It's flimsy and hard to clean. At first it seems great, but when you realize the blades dull very easily and it takes longer to clean properly than to chop onions in the first place... It's a waste of money.

First time seeing someone mentioning the cleaning process for that type of gadget and it was spot on but those devices can be washed in a dish-washer so what you really losing for speed is more space in dish-washer.

I think the comb will be helpful if I wanna chop the onions into small chunks. Put it horizontally and it serves as a guide for me to cut vertically and then horizontally...

I have the muller chopper one. I like it for rare occasions but its a pain in ass to clean and you have to take out the knife anyway to cut the onion pieces small enough to fit into the chopper square. It’s obnoxious
