It's tough being a mailbox these days

I always love when the person recording with their phone says "someone should call the police!"

Imagine walking outside and seeing cows in your front yard and a tipped over truck

I really just can't imagine being so angry that I would trash my own car just to get around someone blocking the road

I've avoid at least 2 dozen potential accidents in the last 2-3 months alone because these compilations keep me primed to expect stupidity from other drivers.

One of the best tips dad gave me when I was learning to drive was about not overcorrecting. My tip is check your mirrors constantly. Know who's beside you, coming up behind you. It would have prevented a lot of these.

That clip at 5:25 looks like the old Nicomekl River bridge in South Surrey. I'd recognize that weird setup (one bridge one lane one way and the two lane bridge one lane each direction) anytime. They're actually replacing the one lane bridge right now.

I was training in a delivery job once. I sat in the passenger seat and road with the driver. She was an insane driver. We came up on a truck stopped with its left turn signal on, and she didn't want to wait so she just put the car in reverse and backed up to go down a different lane. The cars behind us had to get out of our way and I was so embarrassed. Thank goodness no accident happened, but she had no idea that she was doing something dangerous. She wanted to go one way and everyone else should get out of her way. There are people like that out there.

So many of these videos in general, I notice, too many people have a very close sense of personal space, it seems. Like... too many people are too ok with other cars getting particularly close to them, so close that they make impact. Do people think bumping cars is like bumping shoulders in public? Learn to keep a buffer between you and other cars/objects especially at certain speeds. Too close going too fast leaves less room for error and more chance of collision.

Vandalizing mailboxes is a federal crime. If that's the same person, I hope the DA pressed criminal charges against them.

Many of these could be avoided if people would have situational awareness and react when they see someone doing something they shouldn't, like starting to move into their lane or coming through a stop sign. If I am passing a line of traffic, I am always watching the cars in the other lane, glancing at their tires to see if they are moving toward my lane so I can blow my horn (air horn, gets their attention) and brake or avoid them. If I see a break in the line, I slow down, watching for someone coming through without "peeking" first. 0:52 epic revenge putting a huge boulder there to catch the idiot who keeps smashing the mailbox.

At first I was going to comment how I loved the occasional mailbox/trash can porch-camera themed videos. Really, I do. (Not sure why.) But then I saw the cattle hauler overturn. And now I'm of two conflicting minds: 1) Those poor cows! 2) Best dashcam video clip EVER!

I’ve noticed a lot of these on the move incidents happen because both drivers are aggressive, even if someone is in the wrong don’t let pride take over and make you feel like you need to hurry up and stop them from getting in front of you or cut you off, Anticipate these drivers it helps keep you safe and everyone around you.

Seriously don't know how some of these accidents happened. Like the first one. How did the driver NOT see the other guy inching out into the intersection like that? Whether the other car was right or wrong in doing that is irrelevant; he had more than enough time to see what was happening and to stop. So many people are just asleep at the wheel. You need to drive on the defense. Always be looking at what other drivers are doing. And especially when you approach any traffic signal. Just because you have a green light doesn't mean somebody in cross traffic isn't running their red light. WAKE UP. Look around. Tune into your surroundings. So many accidents could be avoided if people just simply paid attention. That first guy acted like he didn't even NOTICE anybody else on the road and what they were doing in relation to him. Can't even say how many accidents I've avoided by being in hyper awareness mode to all the nutjobs around me here in south Florida. I actually messed up my brakes a little bit due to all the times I had to jam the pedal straight down to the floor in seconds because some nutjob jumped out in front of me/swerved in front of me, etc. Came within an inch in some instances. That's a whole side subject though - the staged "car accidents for insurance fraud purposes" thing that happens down here. Luckily so far I've avoided them.
