I saw this on another channel but it was a longer clip. The guy recording is actually another truck driver with a similarly oversized load. In the other clip he turns back to show his truck and says something like "that could have been me" and the text added to the other clip said that steel box was 50,000 pounds, if I recall correctly, and was a total loss.

Stop signs don't prevent these kind of accidents. Proper road infrastructure does. Speed bumps, narrow lanes, more trees for reduced visibility. The best way to make people drive safe is make the built environment impossible to drive through fast.

@@EQUAL2 Regardless of have to be or not, they are heavily parked on the roads and thus hit a lot by bad/drunk drivers here. Some of the oldest houses don't have driveways, either.

Problem is, how the US is laid out, there's no way to have standards for licenses without punishing the working poor. Wasn't legal, but I was denied jobs for having a state ID (Got my license at 16, wasn't comfortable, took myselff of the road till I was 21 and ended up with a CDL A, lol). Invest in public transport, then we can have real standards I'd stand behind

@Wrinkly Pacman I say Doktor_Brewski is right. @0:47 is a motorbike trying to cut the line AND blow through a traffic light by illegally riding on the sidewalk/crosswalk, and gets his bike busted by smacking into a car. Bike made the active choice to break the law, and karma smacked him back. 1:47 is just an idiot backing out into traffic too fast and without looking behind him. Bit neglectful ignorance, but still an accident.
