Ages ago I saw similar to 5:30 right next to me. A Stang wanted to "race" me off the line. Just started raining, so roads were slick. *Really* slick. Dbag kept revving, so I returned the favor. Light turns green, he floors it, wheels just spin, he's all over the road and I'm just feathering the throttle. He eventually gets something approximating a grip, but still fishtailing, and far ahead of me now. Yep, tail end swings out wide, he ends up nose-first in the ditch, and I just quietly putz along past him.
