What it do Dream Team!? It's ya boy D.Neal back with another reaction video! Guys we are here with Tim Mcgraw a living legend and this one was definitely a deep one! This one is about those who have risked their lives serving this country and they wrote a letter just in case they didn't make it back! First off Wanna give a big thank you to those who have served, are serving, or family members of those who served or are serving! Not enough I could ever do to repay you! But man this one really hit me and it was a little tough to get through but it was a song that needs to be heard! But if you guys have a favorite song or artist that you would like to hear me react to please don't hesitate to drop it down in the comment section below!

As a former Army attack helicopter pilot combat veteran, thank you for your reaction. My dad was a a former Marine in Vietnam...I will never regret following in his footsteps and I will never live on my knees..

My son did his basic training at ft Benning and is currently stationed at ft Hood. He is currently facing the reality of possiblity of being sent to the Ukraine. I have mixed feelings on this. As a citizen I understand in the grand scheme of things we need to stop Putin but as a mom I want my son safe. Upmost respect to anyone that has either previously served or is currently serving. I and my family salute you

I can’t get enough of this song. It makes me ball every time I listen to it but it’s also so beautiful. I feel sooo much love and gratitude not to mention respect for our dear, brave, veterans past and present. God Bless them all ❤️❤️❤️❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Your reaction was really beautiful, and your words to those serving was so heartfelt and deep. I grew up in a small country town and have a handful of friends I grew up with who died serving. To see how their families have to continue on without them is so heartbreaking. But the pride they feel for these heroes is 100 percent apparent.

I remember when he sang this song live on tv and no one had heard it before. It was his debut of the song and caught everyone off guard. Everyone in the crowd was sobbing including my whole family watching it in my living room.

I just watched a video reaction of a guy who laughed and I was so offended by that!! I am the daughter, wife & mother of veterans. Thank you for taking this song seriously. I appreciate you for that! My son came home, but he has PTSD. He will tell you that it isn't a big deal because that's who he is. But the boy who went to fight is not the same one who came home. He seen things that he won't talk about, and that's the same with MANY Veterans!!

I'm a retired Sailor so I've never been in combat but I believe most Soldiers and Marines have a letter home already written that they carry on them. If they give their life their buddies will take that letter and mail it. If you would please do a reaction to John Michael Montgomery "Letters From Home". There is an official video for it.

My Mother got a letter like this December 18;1944, My Father lost his life fighting in the Battle of the Bulge WW2. That is why when I was asked to served in the Vietnam War I could not say no, out of respect to my Father.

A lot of us wrote a letter like this before going into combat. If we came back, fine, if we didn't the letter was mailed back home to our kin by our buddies. I cannot watch this without crying because I mailed far too many of these letters home from Vietnam.

This song always makes me cry. It hurts even worse when you realize how many of our brave men and women have a letter like ready just in case. GOD bless our military and their families for the sacrifice they make. Thank you

I served in the Marine Corps and did a combat deployment 2004-2005. It is sobering writing a death letter to your family. When I got back in the States I burned the letter.

I am Marcia’s husbsnd, Steve. I do ‘Lay me down’ every Memorial Day, for Worship services…..I have had veterans thank me with tears in their eyes, hugging me….. I’ve never, ever seen anyone not react emotionally to this song, whn they hear it…….This song really, REALLY speaks to the heart. Amen.

We played that at my husband's funeral. He always said when he died, no hearse, he wanted his last ride to be in his beloved truck. When he died suddenly decades too young, that was how it was. I had to make it happen. We played that song, his casket was carried and strapped on the bed of his truck, with his best friend driving, and our 5 children and I rode behind him to the cemetery. Worst hell of my life but at least it was done his way.

Yeah, you did both "I Like it, I Love it" and "Something Like That" - if you want love songs, not much beats the collaborations between him and Faith Hill (his wife). And this one is a very touching song - can make those allergies act up every time.

I am a retired RN from the VA hospital in Memphis and everyday I thanked my Veterans. The first thing I said to a a new patient being admitted was Thank you for your service. God bless you,

💯💔my dad Marine S/sgt Harold Dean Hollingsworth. 3 tours vietnam ,career marine,I lost him at 15 yrs. he survived the war,but then stationed in Gulfport Mississippi,hit on base by a drunk driver shortly after .💯❤️💕👩🏼‍🦳 he was a single parent,but when he was at war we lived with different family members.

They usually don't get a letter they get a knock on the door. and that is never girl. I do think that everyone that is brave enough to join the military does have that one letter that they get after the fact.... THANK YOU FOR THE BRAVERY.

During both of my deployments I wrote those letters. They were tucked into the band of my helmet with instructions to send them to my wife and kids. I guess my ex-wife still has them or she destroyed them. One of the hardest things, to write a letter to your wife and children telling them you are sorry you didn’t come home.

Always makes me cry. My late husband was in the military for 20 yrs. I thank God he always came home. But in 2012 he went to his home with his heavenly father. I love this song but hate it at the same time. Our world should be better than this. Our young men and women should not have to keep dying in war.

My only daughter is in the army National Guard for 12 years E6. Re_ used 2 times after she first started. I hope I never get a letter like this. I want to thank all the women and men that have sacrificed so much. Never forget.!

I was in an airport, on the way back to infantry training on 9/11, so unfortunately lost too many friends. Then there were the friends that committed suicide, that hurt more.

day late and a year short as they put it, but this song was sung but once by Mr. McGraw, it was at a benefit concert fpr widows of falken soldiers post 9/11 or sumthin.... he never copyrighted it because as I recall it wasn't his lyrics as he said, most of, maybe not all were actual words from a death letter.....watched it about 15yrs ago or so (my memories are fading so forgive me on the # of yrs)

Louisiana produces some great talent like Tim McGraw is from LA. he can sing and write Great songs and there is a movie starring Kevin bacon call take a “chance” he plays an officer escorting a body back home it’s an HBO movie I’m going to tell you right now you are going to cry if you watch it

I never thought I'd see a day, today is aug 30, 2021, the day the war ended for America in Afghanistan, when we left Americans and Allies behind enemy lines in Afghanistan! But that's what happens when you elect a dementia patient for President! May God have mercy on the United States of America and those we left behind to defend for themselves! It wasn't our military that left them, they would gladly lay their lives down to get them out... but it's Washington that has blood on their hands. May God Bless America!

Hey dude, you ask? I talk. I am alive and well today. It's a weird day, but I have so much to be grateful for so I am going to focus on that. I love Tim McGraw! Making my first request of you...not going to waste it. I have 3 favorite Tim McGraw songs, this isn't one of them. Great song, but please try these 3 on and tell us what you think! 1. Watch the wind blow by 2. Humble and Kind 3. Shotgun rider Story time! The very first time I ever went to a lake as a kid, they pulled a dead body out after asking us all to get out of the water. I was maybe 5? The 2nd time I went to a lake...right before we opened the door to get out, my aunt said "watch out for water moccasins!" Hold up...is that a water shoe? What are you talking about? Then she told me. I didn't get out of the car that day. In Texas. I was about 7. No...thanks for not asking, I can't swim. I have some issues. Now...aint that some shit. Have a cool day! Stay happy and healthy, the rest will work itself out!
