In this video we focus on effective, easy to follow face yoga techniques that help to improve pigmentation on the face and reduce hyperpigmentation. Plus 🌸Check out my NEW FREEBIE below🌸!
❗️ Face pigmentation happens due to many contributing factors, amongst them sun damage, hereditary traits and hormonal imbalances, so if you are already addressing the sun protection, skincare and diet and you’re not seeing results, then directly working with your facial skin, using massage and muscle movement, could be the missing link in making a difference to the reduction of pigmentation.
➡️ In this video, we will focus on the main key aspect when working with face pigmentation and that is to increase blood circulation to the skin and muscles of the face. Why? Because The research shows that Skin pigmentation can be significantly improved with face massage techniques that stimulate and increase blood flow in the skin.
✅ The warm up will consist of strengthening exercises to gently start contracting the muscles to wake them up, and also to start increasing the blood flow. We will then follow up with the face massage working directly on the areas that are prone to pigmentation, such as cheeks, under eyes, temples, jawline. You will need face oil for the massage, for best results I would recommend Rosehip seed oil, carrot seed oil or sea buckthorn oil which are considered the best for reducing pigmentation.

I have always been told that I had nice skin, but after the loss of my parents over the past 10 years, my skin has shown aging.I stumbled upon your channel when I bought a Gua Sha and had no idea how to use it. Now I have a night,y routine before bed with my Gua Sha and now just added a morning routine. I am practicing self care as it is helping me get back to a good mental state. Thank you so much, you are helping me through a tough time.

Face massage is really good at improving the skin quality so yes this will help with making the skin look more bright. Not sure about losing tummy weight with acupressure - what really works is exercise and correct nutrition!

Thanks for your comment. It’s difficult to advise on that as I’m not a nutritionist and also I don’t know your circumstances but generally when it comes to melasma, you’ve got to address both external factors such as limiting sun exposure, wearing sun screen, choosing the right skincare and also internal factors, such as diet, stress levels and liver function. In my opinion, the best way to nurture your skin is by eating a diet filled with plant-based foods and Mediterranean diet style nutrition, limiting processed food and sugar as much as possible. Also, take a look at your liver function as if it’s impaired, it may be affecting your skin. Hope this helps, Polina

Yes sure you can, just make sure it provides slip and glide during the massage, so that the skin doesn't end up being pulled.

Hi Varsha, thanks for your question, face massage is good for pigmentation, you can add massage 3 times a week and see how your skin reacts. If it enjoys it, go for 4-5 times a week, a short routine of 5 mins or so, with your skincare application 🌸💆‍♀
