Got add to this where it took a lot of time but was detailed enough where if you are handy and confident, you should not screw this up if you take your time and forge ahead in doing it yourself. We appreciate people like you folks putting these out and thanks again!

thanks a lot man.. got rid of my faulty earpiece. a local shop was asking for $45. I got the earpiece from ebay for $3 and thanks to you, I could replace it myself

thanks CRAZYPHONES :) after 2yrs paying at one stage 60e per ear piece(I've two iPhones and work in a real dusty environment) and then found someone that would do it for 30e......i just replaced it myself for 4e and an hour of my time....fair play keep them coming ;)

Awesome video guys, went to my local Apple store to ask if they could repair my iPhone 4S and the answer was no, I checked other videos but none are as informative and as well documented as this one, recorded in high quality too, that makes a BIG difference when you're dealing with screws the size of a grain of sand !!!! Great vid,my camera and ear speaker were not working.I changed them for new ones and renewed the battery. Easy job really,except the clip that goes across the speaker,it bends easily. I made my own numbered magnet tray which really helps. I cant believe I put up with not being able to hear calls for so long!. Thanks,my phone is like new now and it only cost me about £10 and half an hour of my time!!.

Hi Aqeel, I'm sorry to hear about your problem. First connect your iPhone to a charger or to your computer and if it power on that means it's nothing wrong with the battery and you have an issue with your power button - could be just a lose connection so check if all the cables are properly connected. For replacing the power button cable check our video "iPhone 4S Power Button and Proximity Sensors Replacement"

I have an iPhone 4S that I have been using as an ipod, I was wondering how to tell if its the earpiece thats blown or the external speaker? are they the same thing on this phone? (it only works when I plug headphones in, there is no external sound. and because its not activated I was wondering how to tell if the earpiece is also effected.
