if Samsung did not had the fingerprint scanner like apple i bet you will find the infrared face id scanner, from a company that manufacturers apple screens it wont find it very hard to do it, but every one else find the finger print to be more convenient to use instead of bringing the phone to your face each time you wanna unlock it, and that implementing a fingerprint scanner could have removed the capacity to add an infrared scanner.

Yes it is locked and limits your customization but in terms of convenience, simplicity, security, continuity and the App Store iOS does numbers on Android. Despite whatever he would like to say, that's a definite loss for Apple. I do appreciate the fact that he takes the time to show which one may be a bit more accurate and what their limitations might be. And even if he was being biased doesn't take the fact that he is stating facts and showing how the phones unlock in various situations. As a Galaxy S9+ user I can honestly say apple has done a great job with their 3D face unlock, in which case Samsung's strength lies in having choices/variety.

As soon as the older girl tried it, it still unlocked, then the younger daughter, same thing, it unlocked.. Machine learning my ass!! It's useless. Nothing beats fingerprint scanning or even better iris scanning. Even identical twins have different iris patterns. Face ID is a joke.

It’s can’t even be fooled by a 3D printed face, plus works in practically all conditions. Samsung has more options I’ll give u that but they’re not all amazing and they all need lots of work for security.

For your kind information...fast charging isn't good for your battery life(long term)....and removing the headphone jack gives the space to put other serious stuffs and also helps more liquid resistance and once you tried some good pair of wireless (airpods, Samsung level etc.,) .... there's no dongle because earpods have lightning tip now...and the phone starts at 1000$ not 1500$ ...and there's Xr(there won't be any issues with the display) it's 750$

As for the dongle, apple is the only company to use lightning because they can charge royalties to manufacturers who want to use it thereby saving money by not including one in the box and making money from royalties which is extremely scummy of apple.

Even S8 was IP68... earpods have lightning tip since iPhone 7 and removing dongle has no other reason but to milk their loyal customers for more money... just so you know the phone does not start at 1000$ all over the world. For example, if you convert currencies, in UK 64 Max starts at $1300 and goes up to $1900, in Italy from $1390 to $2000.
