We have used the kzfaq.infoUgkxOTeIs0vv4_9B5hsmnLsk9r930uDQLu_Y for probably 30 hours with our camper and it’s been great! The noise level is really only noticeable when running the AC and other appliances like the microwave, hair dryer, or coffee pot. It’s not huge like other ones and it has wheels so even at 90lbs, I can move it!

Your review made me build my own :) and I paid $1000 less than buying the Jackery. 24 Volt 100ah battery, 24 volt Pure Sine inverter, 40 amp mppt charge controller, 24 volt to 12 volt converter for my 12 volt items, circuit breakers, fuses and high quality heavy duty wire. Price of a jackery 2000 on amazon today $2299. Price to build my own with higher specs? Around $1300.

I would recommend the EcoFlow Delta Max from PoweredPortableSolar.com/shop/ as the alternative to the Jackery 2000. It has a similar but 20% larger inverter, 2,000wh battery, 800w of solar input and has expandable batteries for a very fair price. That's my top choice for units of this size.

The reviewer is wrong. From one panel 100w i got 94w. I don’t trust his review. If you plugsolar saga on jackery 1000/1500/2000 you get very good result. And they are more efficient than bluetti. I have the jackery 1000 and despite the limitation of the generator himself limited to 125w charging, the solar saga panel are delivering very good output. The limitation is coming from the jackery 1000 and not from the panel himself. As i said if i plug one panel i got 94w on the 100 panel which is extremely good. A jackery 1500 charge at 337w with 4 panels of 100w. My jackery 1000 is extremely efficient and runs my dometic 45L fridge 24/7 for 5 days. Try that on the bluetti…

I agree with your assessment of the Jackery 1500 and 2000. I purchased the Jackery 1500 (with my own money also) and I find the proprietary input connectors the weakest part of the new Jackerys. I, too, requested the adapter and use Rich Solar panels. It does appear that the MPPT throttles back on the input, and that maybe due to the new Panasonic batteries they decided to use. I have no problems using the A/C input in one jack and solar panels in the other. The MPPT may require a minimum voltage before powering. For your readers, the Jackery 1500 input is limited to 300 for each plug, for a total of 600. Again, I agree with you and happy with the unit other than the change in the 8mm plugs.

My understanding is that the Jackery Explorer 2000 was only scheduled for a one time production run in 2021. I believe that it was only available for pre-order for a few hours, several months ago. Supposedly Jackery will start producing the Explorer 2000 again sometime in 2022. Currently the Explorer 1500 is the largest unit (1,488 Wh) they have available. Unfortunately the Explorer 1500 also has the proprietary 8mm barrel inputs with thicker center pins. Too bad they didn't just keep the auxiliary Anderson Powerpole connectors like the Explorer 1000 has. I guess this was Jackery's way of selling more of their solar panels. Hope this helps. :)

@Johny Cruz I just bought the Jackery 2000 at Home Depot today. Shipping it to our local store for pick up. On sale right now (July 2, 2021) for $1,099.00. Then the added tax of $53.95. Grand total comes to $1,153.95. We live in Wis. so don't know what your tax would be. The unit also comes with solar panels. You can also have it shipped to your house for free. @@Roblox-er3ds I believe the unit Maureen bought was NOT the Jackery Explorer 2000. The Explorer 2000 has a regular retail price of $2,099 + tax. It also has a battery capacity of 2,060 Wh (watt hours); and a continuous AC inverter max rate of 2,200 watts (20 amps @ 110V AC). The unit Maureen ordered was a watered down version of the Jackery Explorer 1000 made especially for Home Depot. I noticed that Home Depot is deceptively advertising it as 2,000 PEAK watts. This is technically true, but the continuous AC inverter max rate is only 1,000 watts (9.1 amps @ 110V AC), NOT 2,000 watts. In addition it only has a battery capacity of 880 Wh (watt hours); less than the Explorer 1000. Home Depot is currently selling this watered down (880 Wh) version in California for $799 + tax by itself; or $1,099 + tax for the version including 1 * 100W solar panel. Check out the Bluetti AC200P for $1,700 on Amazon. It does weigh 61 lbs., but it has 2,000 Wh (watt hours) of (LiFePO4) battery capacity; and a max inverter RATE of 2,000 watts (18.2 amps @ 110V AC). I think it's your best bet until Jackery decides to start producing the Explorer 2000 again. Hope all this helps. :)

I have the Jackery 500 and it mainly runs the refrigerator in the back of my Jeep and it does it very efficiently in fact some people run their refrigerators for days without needing a recharge but the way I use mine I have never needed to recharge my 500 it works fine. I would say considering the price of the Jackery going over the 500 would be price prohibitive and you would be better off building out your own solar system one that you could expand by adding storage batteries 🔋 and panels to meet power ⚡️ requirements.
@CC-gt3ro
@CC-gt3ro 3 жыл бұрын
Jackery is an outdoor generator for people who need portable outside power. Their battery have less weight because they use traditional 18650 batteries and not LifePo4 far too heavy and not resistant to sub 0 temp. Jackery works at -10C. The solar saga are very good and solid. From one panel 100w i get 94w. What you say about the panel is wrong. I have a jackery 1000 which have a limited mppt input to 125. So with two panel i get only 125w but there are usb port and i can maximize the panel by charging phone directly with the panel. The jackery 1500 get 337w of charging from the 400w panel (4 x 100w). You don’t go in camping with solid fixed panel. The portable panel are very good for that. Personally i am very happy with my jackery 1000 which runs my 12 v fridge for 5 days without recharging. If i charge 2 hours per day. I could add 250wh in the generator which give me 32h of more fridge usage. So perfect for 4/5 days of camping. My fridge cfx3 use 7.79 per hour at 41F in 77F ambiant temp with the jackery 1000. Charging a iphone take less than 10wh, same for an ipad with the usb, and even 0 if you charge directly with the solar panels. It is very efficient 935wh usable on.1002wh so 93% efficiency. The ratings on jackery product are over 95% satisfied customers. Their product are reliable. Jackery is for outdoor, outlanders and camping. It is not for home stationary backup. For that, a DIY or a flex 1500 with stackable battery or titan would be better

And every day i was able to charge it to 100% with only 120w charging because my energy usage (17% per day) is very low with only 12v devices very efficient. One solar saga was capable to charge 90/94w on full sun and 115/119w with two panels. So definitely compatible panel works best for jackery. I was charging at 120w because the explorer 1000 is limited by the internal mppt controller despite 2x100w panels but i was charging two phones simultaneously directly on the panel as well, so i finally used the panel pretty well. Ideally two jackery would be perfect if space and weight was not the problem. Because the logistic is limiting the usage. I had to keep the fridge and jackery in the trunk to not have to move in continuously in the car when we wanted to get out of the camping camp. So we didn’t have the generator close in the tent for fan and other devices. I wanted the generator and fridge in the car to protect them.

Non-standard ports are usually a no-go for me. As a rule, it's best to avoid 'proprietary" whenever the performance is close to the same.

There is a KZfaqr named Shen Ye who was doing a review of the Jackery 1500 and was upset that he was getting very little input from his single solar panel which was doing OK on his Jackery 1000, but badly on the 1500., He discovered that single solar panels that have lower Open Circuit Voltage (around 22.8) and lower Voltage (18v) will do poorly. If using a single solar panel that has Open circuit voltage of 34.5 volts and voltage of 29v was able to be handled properly. Check out his video with a title of Jackery Explorer 1500

@@VinceDiaz it's working out well. I haven't encountered any software buhs yet and I like the fact I can charge it pretty quickly from the wall charger. I need to test it withu solar panels and have it plugged into my generator to set what kind of recharge speed I can get with it. Pairing it with a Westinghouse Igen2200 fits my needs when ERCOT pills their shenanigans this summer. Don't forget to get an Alexapure or some water filtration system either. Prepare for water shortages too. But probably have the covered.

With my Jackery 1000 and 100 watt solar Saga panel I have seen 102 watts input continuous in great sun light on average days I see 70w to 80w which I thought was amazing! the bad part I hear that I can handle 120 solar input even if you have 200w panels which is the dumbest thing every but I'm hoping that the rumors are false but ill update you when I grab another one!

I know how to make 3 panels work...hook up the 3 panels, but put a blanket over one of your 100W solar panels and this will lower the overall voltage to below the 54 volts...then after you connect the cable to the Jackery, slowly pull away the blanket...and it will accept the the 3 panels in series.

I looked at the Jackery 2000 when I wanted to get another unit. I already had the Bluetti AC200P with 3 of their portable solar panels. With Jackery's propriety issues with solar panel connections, I decided not to buy this unit. I bought another AC200P even though it weighs quite a bit more. Good review and it confirms my initial concerns about this unit.

I'm not sure why some commenters think a person has to use jackery's solar panels. I don't,as soon as I looked at them I did my research and bought the dokia brand panels. They are crap, I have since then bought my Marbero's, and I l love them. Running while charging has been said to wear it out quicker as these aren't set up as a UPS system. So I don't. I have two 1000 watt jackery's for my freezer. Two 500 for my computer,DVD player and other misc. I have three 240's for my phone and lights. I bought extension cords and have my Genny's safe in the rv. I also have a 1200 watt system set up that isn't running right now,can't figure out the problem and haven't been able to get anyone to come out and look at it,so I absolutely love my plug and play units. I also do a lot of cooking with my sun oven. Living offgrid in my airstream I need reliable power and that's what I get with my jackery's.

Bluetti all day everyday here Even though they only have the AC200P and EB150 for sale here in Australia A lot of these manufacturers, with their nuances/ corner cutting ( Read : Goal Zero ) will becomes names / products of the past. Moreso when they try to impose their wills and make them “their brand solar panels compatible “ only.
