Jaw pain and tension in your jaw muscles or joint can go hand in hand with facial muscle tightness and even smiling can become painful. You may have pain in your cheeks, facial muscles and jaw, and one of the most common causes of this pain is temporomandibular disorders (TMD) or stress in the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).
Follow along using some principles of acupuncture for jaw pain, but with your hands, making it acupressure for jaw pain. You will also be doing jaw mobilization, stretching and even some strengthening in this video to give you relief.

Muscle tension (often from clenching teeth) can cause a pull on the jaw joints and facial pain. Using these TMJ relief pressure points and facial muscle exercises to reduce pain and discomfort in your jaw and TMJ symptoms like inflammation, spasms, swelling, and pain.
By addressing the muscles/pressure points, we have a way to help restore the mechanics of the jaw joints and even the alignment of the cranial bones.
