Hello, I’m a 75 yr old grandmother and great grandmother. I appreciate you both for the stand you are taking for righteousness in the church and marriage and family. In my experience growth in the Lord is an ongoing process. I believe if we are a person after His heart He will lead us. You were speaking about Jehu and I also thought of Eli. The Bible says Eli as aware of what his rebellious sons were doing in God’s house and did not retrain them so God judged him. Abuse and hypocrisy must be exposed because those things are not built on the foundation of Christ. There comes a time when “the axe must be laid to the root of a rotten tree.” I’m sad these things happened and I pray there will be true repentance and healing for all who have been hurt. I can see that you have a passion for righteousness and I believe you will help many with their walk with God whether they are single or married. You are blessed with a lovely family. God bless you.

You, Blaze and Christina are many peoples’ answer TO PRAYER FOR THE ABUSES AND DAMAGE DONE THEM BY THE LEADERS IN GOD’s Church! These damaging, controlling celebrity leaders NEED DELIVERANCE FROM EVIL. “Deliver us from evil…” Matt 6. From demonic evil! TIME FOR YOU TWO TO LEARN NEW THINGS TO HELP ALL OF US OUT. There is lots of work to do!!!

Hi Blaise, I’m a 63yr old grandmother in Australia, and I have really appreciated you and Christina’s coverage of this issue. I don’t have any connection to IHOP, but I am sick and tired of this kind of coverup and acceptance of gross negligence in the Church’s leadership, seemingly protecting leadership more than the sheep. And as you mentioned, this toxic cycle of a rap on the knuckles, then restoration, then falling again, then restored again to high leadership positions. It’s toxic, so I have been following the story with interest, as I see it as a sort of test case for the larger body. I have tried to stay away from ‘gossipy’ channels, and mainly have looked for your videos as they have been presented fairly yet openly. Thank you.

I am passionate about getting the church on Gods plan. No more lies. We all need go seek the Lord and ask questions about how to please the lord in fellowship. How to serve Him and each other for real. No more hyped up church. No more setting bad characters back in leadership. It’s not holy. I’m with you guys. Let’s do it how the Lord leads. ❤

I agree with all you shared. I would think that once a “leader” has fallen into immorality he should permanently step down from public ministry and humble himself before the Lord and true repentance will restore his standing and state with his God. I would think that I would be terrified to ever consider being in a position of influence to a fellow believer. The Lord Himself would have to direct me to speak into someone’s life. Fear of God is the beginning of wisdom.

Blaise, that is so crazy that you said all that about a mandate from God. The last couple of weeks I felt God really pointing you out to me as someone He raised up for the very things you talked about. I follow this ihopkc thing on twitter and was worried you would maybe stop doing what you're doing or move on or be deterred by the people accusing you of wrong motives. So I asked God to speak to you the same things He was speaking to me. This video is literally everything God was speaking to me about you. And I don't even know you! Especially the part about not being afraid of this Jezebel. That is what stuck out to me about you, that they don't scare you. That is what's needed. And the part about not letting these wolves just move on to another church! I've been praying about that for so many years, ever since the principal of my Christian elementary school molested girls and was quietly released to go do it at another church. And when a girl in my Christian high school got raped by a teacher and he also quietly resigned and went to another school. And on and on. Recently I have been praying fervently for God to raise up men to put an end to it. Yes, like Jehu. He ended Jezebel. Rather than tolerating her as the church in Revelation did. Jezebel in Scripture is always associated with false prophets, and the Lord's message in Revelation was to stop tolerating false prophets because the Lord is going to destroy them. I will uphold you in prayer and I thank the Lord for the justice He is about to bring. I pray you will help lead sheep out of the clutches of false prophets. That is holy work. "Ministry" doesn't require a building or an organization or a mission statement. Just the word of the Lord and an obedient servant. Sorry this is so long, God bless you and Christina!

Hatred of women underlies this current situation with IHOPKC and is prevalent in all spheres of life. I’ve seen it in action for years, especially when I worked as a sex crimes prosecutor. This was a great message and I appreciate your heart. Those who criticize you and your wife for being people should be summarily ignored. Don’t give them any further attention. Keep going. There will always be haters.

I agree with you about the consequences of sexual immorality for ministers. Of course, it depends on level of sexual or spiritual immorality. Minister for sexual and spiritual abuse must never restored to pastor, prophet, leader position to people. After restoration there are plenty things for them to do - have a job, love their family members, be an asher etc. Last year I thought a lot about, why in a part of church culture the main thing for ministers, who has done sexually immorality, is to restore them to ministry. From the outside it usually looks, that personal or marriage restoration were used as instrument for ministry restoration. And it's not only in USA, but also in postsoviet countries too.

Brother, I have nothing but respect and admiration for you and your wife! I'm 60, and my wife have been married for almost 30 years. You all seem to be doing life very well, and I appreciate that. One of my pet peeves is older people and who can't seem to acknowledge it when younger people have done well, by true standards. Sister Wanda Alger made me aware of your podcast. I really like her redemptive, though brutally honest take on this and other messy, awful situations. I have had my share of disillusionment with our fellow Charismatic Christians over the last year or 2, and many of "heroes," including William Branham, I have seen exposed as charlatans and con men. It's kind of devastating, but truth must prevail. We need to stick to the standard of the truth of scripture, and remember that as much as there is "strange fire," there is true, Biblical fire!! Keep staying the course. Blessings to you all!

Just listened. I agree with you that if there were more consequences for leaders especially with adultery and even spiritual abuse then maybe some of these leaders would more fear their actions if there were like lifelong consequences for them. One sad case is Tullian Tchividjian (Boz's brother). Tullian was a serial predator/adulterer committing adultery with various women in the church he pastored and then when exposed had an easy return to the pulpit. Sadly, I am sure there will be a push by a number of people to minimize Mike Bickle's sin and thus allow him to return to the pulpit quickly. I remember hearing one appplication of this passage: "And if your eye causes your downfall, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye, rather than to have two eyes and be thrown into hellfire!" Math 18:9 is for a gifted leader in the body of Christ that is causing issues or in Mike's case is a predator. Despite this person's gifting or talent get this rid of this person in a leadership capacity if they don't have integrity. It is sad to see so many of the "old guard" want to return leaders to ministry that have egregiously sinned. Larry Tomczak and Steve Sprang are two examples.

I believe it's as you have stated in another episode, men are afraid to hold accountable because of their own sin that will be exposed, or because they're afraid of losing their livelihood when the house of cards falls, or they fear the men who are keeping the leader's sin from being exposed. They all don't have foresight to see how God will judge them for their inaction in not protecting the sheep. You are wise, and your ability to speak truth is inspiring. It's refreshing to hear you speak publicly about what so many think. And you're standing up not only for the victims but for the families of these men. When the men are restored to ministry (I believe in one strike you're out) it is a slap in the face to all of them. I wonder if any family members ever are allowed to speak privately and truthfully about the offender's character and repentence before a restoration happens. On a side note and only with kind intentions, the expression is "couldn't care less." I acknowledge it is more usual to hear "could."

What do I think? I'll tell you what I know. I'm not young, and for most of these years I've been watching the church become the apostate foretold. Powerless. I've been researching for years how this started, where did it begin. How did we as a faith go from being so determined to stand up for the gospel that we were willing to be Roman cat food in the colosseum to a fractured mess that can't even recognize when we've broken a commandment. Driven by lust and pride, not faith. The church has embraced what Jesus came to correct in the Jews, and the cycle is nearly complete. You are watchmen sounding an alarm. Keep sounding it.

Thank you and Christina for your videos. The culture of restoration after sexual immorality, specially with minors, is insanity. We recently witness this at The Rock Church in Virginia Beach with John Blanchard. He was arrested in 2021 during a sting operation for soliciting prostitution with a minor in Chesterfield County, VA. The lead prosecutors there, Stacey Davenport, agreed to a deal with Blanchard’s attorneys that allows him to receive psychological counseling in exchange for…I have no idea what. He was never charged, and his record expunged. As of right now he’s fully restored senior pastor of the congregation. Prosecutors do have full discretion with how they prosecute. But states also have conviction guidelines. Unsure what happened here. All the other men arrested during the sting operation went to jail. But what’s craziest is that he was restored as a pastor. The founding pastor of his church are John and Anne Jimenez. Highly loved and respected in the Tidewartwe area and charismatic circles. Their daughter is married to Blanchard. He was also accused of sexual assault by his former secretary (or an admin type staffer at his church, can’t recall) and nothing became of it at church (they settled in court). I’m aware of this information because we used to be part of this church and loved Pastor John. We spent about 2-3 months there when we first moved to the area and were looking for a church. We ended up settling at a different church, but received so much from him. So shocking and disappointed. If you go to any of the church’s social media, comments are disabled, of course. I have called to ask questions, no answer. I think he preached recently. In a few years, everyone will forget, and you’ll have someone who solicited prostitution from a minor as a senior pastor over young and underage women.

All of these trainwrecks and dumpster fires in pulpits, and it's no wonder why so many Christians are running for their lives and into the arms of cessationism and even catholicism.. 😱😱 Keep on speaking out, be snarky, spicy, combative, confrontational, and unapologetic! I’m not sure if this is helpful but I felt like I’ve repeatedly heard from the Lord that “you’ve got to go outside the church to grow the inside of the church.” This has definitely been true in my life. The ones outside of local church leadership (with no financial or social ties) are called to actually produce spiritual growth and purification inside the church. In your case, that would be growth in holiness, righteousness, and justice. The “good ol’ boy” network within the church has got to stop! And God is using ordinary people to make this happen. Praying for you both.

My husband and I, since we moved to Colorado, I’ve been attending a church who is Presbyterian. We miss the worship and openness to the Holy Spirit that was at our old church in Kansas City. However, we see a lot of value in the Presbyterian model. They are high on accountability… maybe the nondenominational Christian churches can take a play out of the Presbyterian book.

Thank you for speaking up about this. Understanding the root cause of where we went wrong as the Body of Christ is going to be important. Usually this lies in a stronghold of our thoughts. Wrong thinking that needs to change. Wrong theology, wrong teaching that requires repentance or changing the way we think, to think the way God does. We need a paradigm shift. I appreciate that you both are speaking out together as ONE, in agreement and unity. God's image manifest in humanity was male AND female. Yet, the female expression has been greatly under represented and undermined within the Church and family. Restoration of equally balanced male/female relationship and leadership/influence is key. Hi Blaise. I have been following you guys since all the IHOP stuff has come out. I have gone to the various churches of Mike Bickle since the mid 80s. That’s 40 years! You can imagine devastating and everything else this is to me. Anyway, I am so impressed by your maturity, insight, wisdom, and leading of the Holy Spirit. This is not a word from the Lord (or maybe it is 😉), but I sure wish you would sell your insurance company and start your own church. I would probably move to where you start it! I am sure you are doing God’s will with the insurance, but, such a strong man of God with such a strong and Godly wife, I can’t imagine not being in ministry. Yes, I know, we all are in some kind of ministry by doing what the Lord’s will, butI think you have such a pastor’s heart and a counselor’s heart. Just some of my thoughts. Love you guys.

Blaise I discern many Scriptures can be used for what is happening at IHOPKC and with it's supporting characters. I know God does not do this today, but there are concequences for being unfaithful and not fearing God. Read Ezekiel 9:4-6. "And begin at my sanctuary." I enjoy Christina's and your commentary very much. Also the cameo's of your children. Ha ha.

Discovered your channel 2 days ago. I never listened to MB teaching just the prayer watches years ago. So sorry for those who dedicated their lives to this ministry. Elated for the Body of Christ that sin is being exposed and the Bride is being purified. I hope MB is not one of those unrepentant leaders who are destined to drop dead in the pulpit. I met two men who were former members of IHOP-KC. Both spoke highly of the organization yet there was always a big “BUT” concerning something about that culture. One man felt there was a doom n gloom / poverty mentality among the young interns. They were not being taught to expect Yah to meet their needs. A lot of sacrifice but no joy.

Continue to speak truth to power! The current church model is too leadership focused, to the point that they endanger and disregard the lives of the sheep.

Sorry to comment twice but you ended w something I am passionate about. We need a new wineskin and GOD is doing it. I’ve wrestled Him for 15yrs and have a lot of prophetic perspective about why the issues and what the answers are. We are shifting into a new wineskin and on my channel that’s what I’m starting to talk about. I’m so blessed to see you finding your stride man, it’s fire, I see you man. Read Joel 2:1-11

Preach the gospel of the Kingdom, the only truth Jesus preached. There’s enough coverage of KC, the Lord is dealing with Mike and that situation, I pray healing on the ladies of that abuse. There’s plenty of “Christian gossip,” use your time wisely young man, you do not have enough of life’s experience to be speaking on anything.

I've so enjoyed every episode of you and your wife and yours the times she was being full time wife ' mommy and commuted to work and you and the enlighten of truth Holy spirt spoke to you months before all this came to light As I've said before God has called you both as a spear a sword by His word . GRACE @ TRUTH And have continued to say yes we will sin own up Take accountability Godly sorrow brings repentance. Thru the very beginning I've seen none . I've saw no as you've both said any 😢 one truly thinking of the terrible abuse the manipulation the spirtal abuse ' the lies the cont covering up. I still say there's was lots removed destroyed that first month if Oct when M B started preaching the lies about what was coming accusations ect All more grooming the flock He was never a shepherd But all about His fame His name . I wander the mental state of his wife Who's lived with him all these years . Put her with the Jane Doe s 😢 He and they are narcissistic and all or most in the E L C and leadership are still being controlled spirtal abuse manipulation and there decived . Lord please protect Blaze @ christine to cont to bring forth truth have some one holding there ministry to accountability protect and hedge them and there littles in. God bless you be obedient to hear God speak to you 🙏❤

Just as in your geberation there are champions, so also in the older. Many of us were tried in the fire of persecution IN THE CHURCH, and learned from the Lord in those places what NOT to do. These days, many of us are leading ekklesia gatherings that are very different than those we were once part of. Please don't sweep us all into that same "old guard" category.

You guys don't need to apologize for being snarky. The folks who constantly whine about that are also those in the church that God is going to severely discipline. Their constant pleas for mercy & grace for unrepentant apostates & abusers are really just a pseudo-spiritual facade for their own sin: cowardice. Spoiler alert: cowards also inherit the lake of fire on judgment Day. (Rev 21.8)

You say there is this minister you know of going around doing the wrong thing and everyone else should be exposing him…so that is obviously hard to do because you aren’t exposing him either! You are just saying other people should do it. I, myself, do not know how it can be done. I think it should be done, but do not know how we do it. Maybe through the Roy report???? Maybe the four brother “Advocates” could work with these issues and do whatever needs to be done?

Right right. That’s what I’m learning. The process of proper exposure. And the best avenues of doing so in order to protect all parties involved. Thankfully I’ve got great counsel on this right now 🙏🏼

restoration of people back into platforms and public ministry is done on an abuse of Galatians 6:1, and does not take into consideration the necessary qualities of leaders in 1 Timothy and Titus. Restore them, yes... from sin, so the Lord, to fellowship with and in the church. But restore them to ministry, to influence... NO. Especially when someone is shown to have demonstrated predatorial behavior. Rick Joyner restored Todd Bentley repeatedly, and he erred in doing it and caused much harm to many people. Same with Bethel, in particular, Danny Silk; restoring people to ministry without appropriate repentance; side stepping proper oversight (J Welton), etc. The culture of honor is a cute buzzword that really means culture of cover up.
