Lauren Cameron erm actually he didn’t say he was gay. He said he has hooked up with guys and is bi. Maybe look at the issues with STD and downlo brothers. Fine for someone to be gay or bisexual but the moment they do with without being open and honest is the reason we have STD numbers going crazy

@@araweelospirit4180 Ummm......men that hooks up with men is still gay. Okay, he's "bi" but what real woman who KNOWS a man is messing with other men would deal with him??? Not a real woman. I should know because I made that mistake but I didn't know. Thank God I walked away with my son instead of a death sentence. Now I know if I meet a man to be aware. Because if I KNEW I wouldn't of EVER hooked up with my childs father. Now I gotta one day sit my son down on some real shit. He's not there for my son, and neither is his family. He's too busy sucking on men and a glass pipe.

@@boboat86 "his poise is overemphasized"? No, you're trying way too hard to find something to criticize, and all you can come up with is trying to spin it so his excellent timing and clear diction aren't 'qualities' but are instead "false". Guess what: it's a practiced comedy performance you're watching, not a conversation you're having with an individual. Standup comedy is inherently 'false'.

Wow. I just realize just how exhausting this pretending to be straight must have been. It even forced him to pretend to be straight in his comedy. I guess as a straight man , I never had to think about that before. For us , it was a good set , but for him , it was a reminder of his constantly having to pretend he wasn’t gay. Interesting . Good joke though. Timing is always masterful.

Thanks for sharing this insight ! It's hard to imagine. 💔 most of your life has to be edited and prepared for others and you have to keep your "story strait" I mean, im also strait and can't say how it might begin to feel but that would be hard enough, to put on a persona, but one that gets to the core of who you are and who you love . That's insane and goes to show how hard it feels to come out in alot of society, to have to suffer through all that for years ... just wow..

@@FinneySP fine since you want to feign ignorance.. when a comic is confident you laugh at the jokes even if they are just ok.. but when a comic has decent delivery his hilarious jokes can fall flat this is because stage presence and controlling the room is a big part of stand up there are plenty of everyday funny people who cant just go do comedy because of this. If it helps go to amateur night at your local comedy club it's much easier to spot with no name comedians

JuicyMcnamus that’s for basic lowest common denominator laughters who just end up in their local scenes. not really. patrice goes after the crowd with his jokes and uses them as an example. carlmichael has a great delivery and a great art of storytelling and that why he can tune in his audience even if he is not funny . i dont think they are comparable

Sen Chi Jerrod sucks. His comedy sucks. I’ve watched some of his shows and I did not chuckle at all.

It’s so refreshing to see a black comedian that writes jokes that have nothing to do with race! So many comedians use that as a crutch and it’s just lazy writing. Jerrod might be my favorite comedian currently
