There is nothing wrong with getting ANGRY about situations of injustice. There is no need to justify it.

For too long leaders in sin have used scripture to quiet the sheep. Stay humble, stay humble, don’t have emotion, don’t judge, look at yourself…. All the while, those leaders are living in deep darkness. If the righteous don’t rise up and speak who will? Thank you Blaise.

You don't accidentally abuse someone. You don't have a misunderstanding and one person just abuses the other for years. This isn't an "oh, my bad!" situation. Its not a mistake. This was an intentional, deliberate, predatory action. He acted like the wolf acts when it preys on victims. Wolves dont get to apologize like sheep.

I want to applaud you and your wife for bringing out the truth in allowing people to have their feelings about what is going on. You are so well spoken and giving very good emotional and spiritual truth to help others!! The voice of the righteous must be heard to help others navigate these times!! This all saddens me for those harmed at IHOPKC. I left "church" 20 years ago and have tried to get back into a fellowship and just can't. I see the whole machine in operation from 20 years ago. Money and power is far too great for most, grieves me for the heart of Jesus too.

I haven’t been able to find a church that I can stay in because things get weird. I discern and feel the junk. I long for genuine fellowship with accountability. I think the church system is making us unhealthy spiritually. I just study the word and try to talk sense to my friends who follow these false leaders like star struck Groupies. It’s so frustrating and sad. We need to turn those tables.

At one time in my walk I was listening to and believing in the ministry of Rich Joyner, Mike Bickle, and some of the other So called prophets. I followed the teachings of Benny Hinn and Cindy Jacobs etc. But as time went on and I became more knowledgeable of the scriptures I began to doubt them. I still am charismatic in my beliefs but see so many wolves and false prophets out there that I am very careful who I follow and listen to. Most of these prophets and so-called apostles of today are part of the NAR, and Word of Faith Movement. It is no more than witchcraft, control and false doctrine. Doctrines of devils.

My kids were victims of sra at the church and church school we attended. It took years to come out. I was a single mom and clueless as to what was going on in secret. They were experts about keeping it under wraps. I left the church 30 years ago. Have not found another church but have attended home fellowships. I don't talk about it as when I have in the past i get the whole "forgive" sermon. They have no clue what this sort of thing does to a person. 20 years of my life and my kids lives were lost. Very painful, and no one to share it with other than one of the victims. My relationship with my kids was destroyed because of their own woundedness.

You are absolutely right. So much idolatry in the church, following "leaders" instead of Jesus. Judgement begins in the house of the Lord. Thank you for your clarity on this matter. There are victims, ruined by those who claim to be of "God".....I believe that God said something about "millstones" regarding those who harm his young ones. There is mercy and forgiveness, but first one must truly repent.

Unfortunately, for decades the Western Church (with all its optimism) forgot that emotions are ok...normal...and God made. He created us with emotions. Ignoring emotions is not only wrong but dangerous.

I was here during the early years at KCF and was witness to the false prophecies of Bob Jones that MB has leaned on all these years to lend credibility to the “ministry”. I warned the leaders then after presenting 12 specific “words, visions, or dreams” Jones spoke that were contrary to scripture and any sound doctrine. They agreed because everything was recorded on cassette tapes so they could review his prophecies. I told them they had a wolf among the sheep and he was tearing them up. They said they didn’t see things like I did. I asked, “How do you see it?” They said “We believe he is “young” in the prophetic office and needs time and grace to grow in these things.” I said “I’ve told you there’s a wolf among the sheep and you’re telling me he’s a young wolf. The result is the same.” We left the church at that time. Now your generation is experiencing the consequences of their inaction and negligence as shepherds. They sacrificed the flock to keep the show going.

As far as people getting bak on stage after failurr....the STAGE itself is half the problem...whati it is and has become. There's no business like show business and no drug like Celebrity.

The true prophets who warned the nation of Israel to repent for judgement was coming, were hated by their countrymen. The false prophets on the other hand prophesied good things and the people loved them. There is nothing new under the sun. Stay humble and keep sounding the alarm. God bless you!

The SCRIPTURE IS CLEAR! This is where the department happens. The BIBLE is disregarded. It is the PLUMB LINE. NOT any “prophesy!”

The term "moral failure" has come up repeatedly in this sad several-month situation. Including in MB's concession letter. I've heard that term many times since being in the evangelical scene; from at least 1982. It just occurred to me that (unless I REALLY missed something), the term "moral failure" isn't in scripture. Also, I've never heard it used outside American Evangelical culture. Normal people (non-evangelicals) don't use the term. "Moral failure" is a very obscure term. It can mean anything one wants it to mean. Scripturally, it might describe failing to follow Jesus' teachings. "Morals" is from a root word meaning, "that which is acceptable in a society." Therefore, hating one's neighbors instead of loving them; doing injustice, oppressing the poor, etc.--- things like that--- would probably be the definition of "moral failure" for a Christian (if the term had actually been used in scripture.) This is a brand new thought to me, so I'm not expounding it very well. But since it's such a vague term, it's a convenient way to obscure a discussion and change a confession into a concession. It would be easy to backtrack a confession by saying something like, "What I meant by moral failure was that I was harboring bitterness against a brother."

God is exposing various kinds of evil within the church. Cleaning up things. With every new exposure one endemic problem persists, and it isn’t about the leaders or perpetrators. It is about Christendom in general. Clergy and laity alike, we respect and follow gifting and talent more than character. Why? Because character is boring. No excitement or pizzazz. Until we, the rank and file, change who we admire and follow, we get the leaders we deserve.

Sadly, people like Mike Bickle, will keep twisting words unless or until they are put in a position where that just won't work any more. And I find it shameful when people use the excuse of being "loving" when they try to cover up situations like this and "excuse" serious, harmful actions.. I would encourage people to CAREFULLY listen to the actual words that people say if you don't want to be deceived.. . People make a "mistake" when they put ANY man on a pedestal. Yes there are people we respect and can learn from. People who might guide and help us. But all men are HUMAN. It is GOD that we worship, it is GOD that all good comes from. And when that man thinks he has done the healing, or is the one who is giving blessings, he has opened himself up to Satan. The carnal nature of men is strong. Egos are weak. And deception is easy. All of these "new" movements have become man centered and are clearly destroying the Christian faith. It is Satan's work. Wolves in sheep's clothing. People need to start understanding this and go back to what Jesus ACTUALLY taught. Bibles need to be read IN CONTEXT. And people need to pray and develop their own personal relationship with God. Do not rely on deceived people to guide you no matter how charismatic they are. LISTEN to the actual words you are being told by someone. If you do, you will know what is really being said.....where the lies are. Where the word salad comes into play. The deception begins with adulterated teachings. Twisting of Biblical verses to mean things that will then lead into further deception. You stop it, by calling out the false teachings in the first place. But people are wowed by the charisma, the love bombing, the "feel good" message, and the fancy trimmings and forget what Christianity is really all about. But you won't forget, if you are indeed well grounded in your Bible . ANYONE can claim to hear from God. Sadly, it is now happening everywhere. We are in times of great deception. It doesn't matter who claims what. What matters is that people go to Scripture and understand the truth. Scripture clearly explains about false prophets and what should be done. Of course the false prophets clearly avoid those parts of scripture, and they will use other parts to twist the message to make it sound like they are speaking truth. ALWAYS go back and verify Scripture. Many are deceived.. few will actually search out the truth. To not be "judgemental", to never point fingers or call anyone out is one of the BIGGEST control methods that false teachers use....Christian and no Christian alike. Set the leader apart and as untouchable....( don't touch God's anointed)....is the part of a big lie. Any and every cult does that. And saying the words "I am so humble" does not make a humble man. Those who are struggling with their feelings and emotions, and think their feelings are "unbiblical, " needs to go back to the Scriptures and see what the Bible REALLY says. Read Jesus actual words and teachings. Folks have been fed twisted and false interpretations, and passages out of context.(And often the Old Testament is misused.) They might be pleasantly surprised to discover a God of love, compassion and understanding forgiveness. A God who is on your side !!!! Those who have been following IHOP and any of the related movements have not been taught what real Christianity is about. Remember, you fool people by including a certain amount of truth in order to make it seem legitimate. EVERY false teaching includes some truth or it would never sell. I hope people can start reading their Bibles in full context and discover the wonderful God and Savior that is there for them...now, in this time of struggle and always. Just imagine if all these "leaders" were to be spending their time actually reading and living by the Bible, and spending time on their knees in real prayer, how simple life would have been. Indeed, we reap what we sow. This whole, seemingly complex mess, boils down to some very basic truths. There are good folks who have been calling these false ministries out for years. Sadly, people have refused to listen as they thought no one is allowed to "criticize" others. If people would ONLY read their Bibles and look up texts that are given and see the full context...please !! Deception is SO easy when people just "follow blindly" anyone who has charisma. This is SO,SO IMPORTANT. Discernment is NECESSARY and the BIBLE will tell you that as well !!!!! The problem here is not in Christianity. It is in men who want to start "new movements" that want to change the original message that needs NO change. The "change" is to open up doors that allow for the type of harm you are seeing. I hope we can ALL search our hearts during this very challenging time. No blame or shame is even needed... just turn to the actual truth and you will find your answers. The truth shall set you free. As for folks like Mike Bickle, there are indeed laws.....both worldly and spiritual, that do apply. If people are not willing to take responsibility for their actions in this life, then justice WILL be served in the next. We do have free will..... If Mike honestly does believe in the God he "claims" to not only believe in but to speak for, I would hope he decides to use his free will wisely. In the end, there is no escape. All of those women were someone's daughter, and someone ELSE'S future wife, mother, grandmother. We all get ONE woman. ONE. Every other woman is for someone else. "Do to others as you would want them to do to you" - Jesus

If you stuff your feelings down without expressing them, it will show up in your body physically. That is in part why so many of us that went through abuse have chronic illnesses. Sadly, most religions teach you to stuff your feelings down or take the toxic positivity approach. Both have lasting damaging affects. Anger is a gift. It means you care. To not be angry at evil is indifference.

I came across this Scripture this morning and thought of Bickle and prayed for his repentance and the healing of the victims. I Timothy 1:19: .."having faith and a good conscience, which some having rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck..." Lord, draw Mike Bickle to return to a good conscience so that the suffering of all the people of IHOP can end.

This is what’s scary about “grooming”. It’s very careful and strategic crossing of the boundaries that causes a person to question their own instincts. The younger person thinks “oh that’s weird, but I guess it’s different for them…” and then when the predator finally does something “bigger” a person feels obligated to them because they care for them or want to protect them. Especially when the victim is not fully adult. It takes time and reflection to know they’ve been violated and betrayed. And they need other people who love them to help them with this process.

I'm definitely charismatic, but I'm not impressed with men's gifting as I am impressed with their character and personal life. There is no comparison. And once these guys have fallen in this way, there can be no restoration to public ministry. Not necessary to promote or perpetuate their misrepresentation of Jesus. Just restore them to their families and go on quietly with your life. No more platform. Period.

I felt like I was being judgmental of him, but the more that comes out the worse it obviously is. Not that MB can’t have mercy. But we’re talking about years and years of deceit, similar to the Razi Z scandal. Bickle was found out before he died. The two situations are so similar IMO.

Mike Bickle’s definition of repentance is grossly flawed. David was full of remorse in PS 51 having abused his God given power and used it to harm others. David wasn’t expecting an erasure of a peccadillo by naming it, he was broken hearted that he had broken faith with God. David truly repented, Mike presumed upon Jesus’s sacrifice and doing so, devalued it. Cheap grace!

I spent a few hours in the IHOPKC prayer room last night and again this morning. I believe there are so many great people here- I was at IHOPKC 2004-2009, God will pull them through in spite of the actions of one man. God has a big investment in that ministry.

My pastors were at Lakeland and shared many, many testimonies of healing. Todd is a total charlatan, but there were healings there.

If something like that happen to you, you dont go to them, you go directly to POLICE!

Ephesians 4:26-27…be angry and do not sin. I just started following your podcast a few days ago. I watched the three most recent ones first, then decided to start at the beginning and move forward. Thank you so much for doing this for all of us. You’re doing a wonderful job keeping us informed, while taking the opportunity to minister at the same time. Today, I finally let myself express anger. But I realized I’m not just angry about this. I’m angry about the overwhelming injustice taking place all over the world. I’m angry about the attacks on innocent people globally-the attack on Israel being the most recent. We’re being invaded at our border, innocent people are languishing in prison, children are being trafficked with unspeakable things being done to them. And then we have this man who has allegedly been a predatory liar from the beginning of IHOPKC, still lying. A real man would admit to what he’s done and publicly apologize to those he has wronged, including Diane. But this man continues to waste time, money and resources in order to cover his rear end. So, I’m angry that we’re having to deal with this distraction during a time when we have serious, potentially life altering global events taking place. We need to collectively be praying and preparing for those things. This man needs escorting out of ministry with no promise of restoration. Maybe he will be restored, but only with intense, hard work and dogged accountability.

I can testify to this. When I went to Lakeland, about 20 minutes after I walked into the arena, Todd Bentley had a word of knowledge. “There’s healing on a brain. There’s a brain injury from a car accident 8 years ago, and there’s healing on the right side of the brain! Hallelujah!” I was shocked. That was me. It was actually about 8 years and 2 months, but it was a brain injury on the right side from a car accident. I walked up to the stage, and Bentley prayed for me, declaring me completely healed. I felt nothing. But when I came back to Kansas City my hands and feet were on fire. I could see people’s aches and pains and they would be healed or feel God’s peace and presence when I touched them. People looked at me and saw a transformed person. This lasted for several months. So, yes, Bentley’s anointing was real. But after what he did, he never should have been restored to ministry. There’s a false doctrine going around charismatic leadership that we can press delete and move on. Are we forgiven? Yes. But are free from consequence when we hurt others? No.

Todd Bentley got restored but fell again according to some report.

Lying signs and wonders!!!! If God healed his tooth it would be a restored white one. All that glitters is not real gold.

Agree 100% brother. I went through my pastor (of a megachurch) failing. It is devatstating! When he was put out by the elders he went to manage a nightclub! Like a dog returns it's vomit he went back to the world that Yahweh deliverd him from!! So sad to see, but judgement begins at His house!! When people say we’re too keyed up- I wish they understood that these people and their doctrines have been very questionable and caused a lot of doubt and fear for people.. for me it feels like finally I know I’m not crazy. I don’t feel right about a lot of what they taught and did and now I trust my journey with the Lord even more.

Your discernment is called into question. My cousin changed his theology when he saw a leg grow in a healing service. To this day he doesn't realize someone was pulling his leg.

Regarding Todd Bentley: I've seen miracles happen during services from ministers who are in secret sin too. Many of the miracles under Todd's leadership happened WHILE he was in secret sin. The only thing I can attribute it to is the verse "The gifts and callings of God are irrevocable." Yes, these leaders need to be removed. But also yes, miracles do happen in their ministries.

Righteous anger is not sin. The only time Jesus was angry was at people’s hardness of heart. Jesus wept because of people’s unbelief.

It is clergy abuse and it is evil to take advantage of a young adult. I went from an ARC/hyper-charismatic set of beliefs to cessationism. That said, you're doing an excellent job of exposing clearly false teachings, regardless of the possible consequences from that community. Thank you for digging in and being persistent. I'm sure you're helping many people, both male and female. We know that demons exist, that Satan is real, and we're told in 1 Peter 5:8 that the enemy growls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Case closed.

Indeed the whole structure of the church ( as we have mistakenly constructed it ) is being shaken and I believe we are only at the beginning of this. We were called to build a priesthood of all believers not a structure which mirrors the corporate and business world. The recurring ‘structure’ that the Holy Spirit illuminates in my mind, is the thought…..tribes & families. Families grouping together in tribes, and ultimately tribes forming a nation (‘a holy Nation’). Families for me is not simply biological families, but ‘those in covenanted relationship with each other. So my conception of the church we are moving to is quite fluid in character and will continually ‘escape’ from the formal structures that we have become entrapped by in western christianity

They either see you as stupid and controllable or not controllable and therefore having bad intent, aka a threat to them.

Being angry but truthful about sin is not being sinful. "Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor, for we are all members of one another. “Be angry, yet do not sin.” Do not let the sun set upon your anger, and do not give the devil a foothold." Eph 4:25-27

Whoa...this is crossing a line and super hurtful to so many of us. I like most of what the two of you say in your videos, but can we please stop calling God's House of Prayer a "House of Predators"? There are sooo many men and women who DO carry the fear of the Lord and GIVE themselves FULLY to Jesus at that location. Can they go to other places? Sure. But God has called them there and it is NOT right to call it a "House of Predators." This is super hurtful. Please stop. Did several people allegedly hurt several people? Possibly and God will deal with them and heal the wounds of those who were abused. That doesn't give anyone a license to name-call. It is still God's House of Prayer. I was raised up there having no dealings with any of this demonic activity and bc of that (which was mostly not under MB, but other leaders), I now serve the Lord in another country. Regarding training your children, amen. I do appreciate your heart for justice and holiness. We just have to ensure that we don't cross the line into partnering with the Accuser of the Brethren bc if we do, we will become what we hate. Each time I pray, I see Jesus weeping. His emotions were and still are real. If we get angry and stay there, it won't end in healing. It will end in bitterness. If we feel the anger and then, also weep and grieve and invite Jesus into the pain, we will be healed. This is super important and cannot be said enough. We absolutely get to feel anger AND we must weep and grieve and allow Him to take the offense and replace it with His great love so that this nor anything else leaves us broken. Regarding Jesus flipping over tables, we must be careful not to take His place. He is the One who turned over tables. He did not allow His disciples to do the same. When John and James wanted to call down fire from heaven, Jesus stopped them. We must remember to give Him room for Him to have justice. Vengeance is His. Regarding prayer, I just feel like prayer is what's going to really shift this thing. I dance dances over this injustice and every single time, I see Him weeping over these women who have allegedly been abused and MB and Diane bc they are all broken. MB seemingly may not have received the healing that he needed from being raised by his father and also losing his brother. The women have their own stories and also need prayer for their pasts. And Diane needs prayer too...we can't forget her. Ultimately, Jesus wants to deliver and heal us all. If not for the grace of God, we would all fall into this or other temptations. My heart is always to remain humble bc goodness! I just want the fear of the Lord in every area of my life, but it can't be separated from His grace, love, and yes, mercy. Discipline is absolutely necessary and we've got to let Jesus do what He does in bringing it. I want His judgment in His way and I want His mercy to triumph over His judgment as Scripture says.

We have been lulled to sleep,we don't know what is happening in our government.And also in the church, it's time to go back to basics. The church is not a building, it's his people. We made these people celebratysAnd they were more than happy to except this role. Question everything. If it's not biblical,confront it as soon as you hear or see it.

Im a former pastor of a church that had a similar situation with a fomer interm pastor whos face was on the front cover of the news paper of a scandle concerning his own ministry which was in the county. What he apparently did was a step lower then mike i leave it at that. I had suspions the man was guilty bassed of some things that did not make sence at the time i realy can not go into detail. I address the church one Sunday. I got on with my life. I knew of one of the family members directly involved in the situation that i can not go least bit of detail thankfully she respected me and separated me from the other minister cause she that minister sin was his not mine. My heart went out to her i let her know what ever i can do let me know. Hey, I love your work on this and your clarity in the matter. I've watched all the content on this scandal and love how thorou you guys are, it's a blast and gives me much hope! One thing: I'd appreciate it, if you wouldn't constantly bring up that Boz Tchividjian is Billy Grahams grandson. I think we should evaluate his credentials not by his ancestry but by his track record. In, albeit a lesser sense, it's the same game of putting fallible people on pedestals. Billy Graham was a great man of God, no doubt, but I think we should get off this idea of evaluating ideas and statements and the integrity of people based on whether they are connected to "great men of God" or whether they are famous or not. What do you do if, God forbid, a story breaks that Graham had been connected to clergy SA? I know of no such story and I pray to God there is none, but hypothetically suddenly all the "Billy Grahams grandson" is an indictment not a credential. Boz's credentials in fact are, that he has been laboring to provide a proper response to SA allegations, protecting the victims and bringing out the truth, that should be the focus. Not doubting your heart in this at all. It's a small matter, it feels natural to go after this very prestigious pedigree and that's what we have always done, but maybe it's time to change habits here.

She also collected 4-5 supposed precious gems she found during worship. But they were just plastic fakes. Again, false signs and wonders for gullible people.

One of the reasons why I have asked for patience in this process is because the group making the accusations have not been entirely transparent or honest, either. They came out, saying there were many allegations, reportedly a list of eight women, and then several women came out and said they had nothing to do with this. If you’re going to go after the leadership at IHOPKC, I think it’s only fair to take this into account and to also examine the people making the accusations and the way they went about it.

People that believe every sign and wonder they see proves an anointing is from God. The enemy has and will lead many astray doing false miracles. We need to be cautious about being deluded.
