@@ZOMBIE_STOMP he's my favourite announcer and the voice of my childhood but you saying that discounts the people that grew up in the golden era listening to Gorilla Monsoon, Bobby Heenan, Vince McMahon and Jesse Ventura as examples (even the future eras). Nostalgia hits hard for different people so respectfully I'd have to disagree

For legal reasons, this is just my personal opinion and interpretation of a business’ perceived practice not a statement of business fact. I’m personally really not a fan of his “business” model. He does do a few good things. Point out tax deductible things you might have missed, offers strategies to help get a lowered interest rate on loans and a few other financial housekeeping practices. However, (This will probably end of being removed) I find the entire thing to be severely predatory at best and down right maliciously manipulative at worst. The business takes advantage of people with low to no credit scores because of outstanding debt, being fresh to the market, or insanely high interest rates and payments. It is essentially the same thing that those big chain used car dealerships do. It targets people who are desperate to get a new car loan, refinance a home, deal with back tax stuff, etc, etc but can’t get traditional bank loans because of their credit situation. Save with Conrad will essentially “buy” your debt or loan you money to pay for your needs. And the interest rates really so start small. The payment periods really do start spaced out against each other… until it stops being those good things. They trap you into paying seriously high interest rates and more frequent intervals. And if you can’t pay? Guess what company owns the car or home now? Boom, you’re hit with repossession and/or wage garnishment. Conrad’s found his way into the wrestling world through hobby podcasting and he knows these wrestlers hold a lot of power over a demographic that would be prime candidates for his business. Lower-Middle Class families in rural areas. It’s basically legal loan sharking. And it makes my skin crawl. Rant over. Stay away from the business. It just takes advantage of those in need. Again, for legal reasons, this is just my personal opinion and personal analysis to the business itself.

@@blacksabbath2024 Yes, Matthews is terrible and Excalibur is bad but at least AEW commentary isn't as obnoxious. I quite like Joe Galli for the NWA at the minute. It annoys me so much when Pat McAfee calls Michael the "GOAT". Just because he's been there the longest doesn't mean he's good at his job. Cole is arguably the worst color commentator of all-time. He's cliche', he's annoying, he doesn't capture the excitement of a match like he should...I think Gorilla Monsoon is the best of all-time and JR is #2.

Cole is insanely good at his job. The hate for him is unwarranted and completely unnecessary. His work in the 90s and 2000s was phenomenal. And even is early 2010s heel work was impressive (not saying I enjoyed it but then again we weren’t supposed to). He shows up and does his job day in and day out, and he does it well.

I have always been a fan of Michael Cole but I do think he does come off as annoying or whining and that he can make it obvious that he reading off a script but what annoys me most is when Cole and Graves commentate together. Their tone and persona sound like they’re a divorced couple who despise each other but have to sit next to each other while attending their kid's sport game.
