Marianna MV is the only MV I believe that doesn't get along with any other Maravilla. Some shit happened early 90s and beefed it with everyone.. outside of jail and prison that is. Inside it's a different story all MVs as one.

Maravillas are like Bulldogs, except they carry loyalty, pride, tradition, force and most of all respect. I met a few Maravillosos going down to East Los to visit my compadre. As a Norteno I can say a couple of them showed me fairness and hospitality. I always thought Surenos ran East Los but they schooled me on clecha saying Boyle Heights is Sureno dominated, while East LA is their territory. I know Boyle Heights is ELA too, but according to their hood knowledge the turfs say different, is that true? Nevertheless mucho respeto to all Maravilla sets. Cool channel here 👌🏼

I grew up with Racoon RIP as kids. We lived by ELA13 Eastmont click. Then when we became teenagers we went separate ways. He got into MMV. Got killed young in the 90's. I also have family from HMV

Alonzo you ever think about extending your interviews to overseas? Ive met a lot of ex LA gangmembers who got deported to their home countries during my travels. There are a lot in Tijuana but Ive also met ex LA gangsters in Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Colombia (all surenos) except for Belize which banged Bloods or Crips).

Well, a lot of news channels & bloggers of other races who have only read stuff in books come on here and get paid off telling the stories & so called history of Chicanos and gang culture. So why not have Chicanos making that money instead & tell it like it really is? These other channels are profiting off of a life they haven’t lived...telling stories they really know nothing about. So as long as they’re following the rules, I think it’s perfect that Chicanos tell their *own* stories - talk about their experiences in real life - rather than letting others do it for them & profit off it along the way.

My boy Juan from JMV got killed in 94 by the Surenos when they Surenos came from LA to take over our hood, he didn;t want to be a Sureno and stood on it and they killed him some of the others turned Sureno but most of them Stayed true to the Maravillas . Plus they were in Albuquerque since the early 80's I know in our hood it was there too many Crips Black Stone and ViceLords JMV13 and the Cubans so they had to deal with all those gangs in our hood then almost the rest of the city was against the Surenos. They mainly stayed in the 87108 southeast they never really tried taking over the north east side of the hood only the south east part that was mainly the JMV13 section. We had a spot right across from theirs there was always like 50 Surenos and 50 people from our hood on our side and we weren't going no where. Everyone is still in that except Surenos now but the came in and stirred the pot real good once we realized what they were trying to do we all just added them to the list Albuquerque was already on fire with gangs so when they came it was like you get on of them thats a trophy. One of the mero meros that came down to run it got killed he had a big Lennox tattoo on his back tall slim guy. One thing about Albuquerque when it was time to get down we always would say hit the biggest guy first and that went for fighting or shooting when it's go time it's go time we don't care where you're from. #87108
