What the hell is wrong with ppl that stoppage was bound to happen,the fighter getting worse then schooled,also getting badly beaten,he needs his confidence ,don't let him. Get emberessed in front of the crowd,his health his heart is not destroyed this breaks a fighter down

I think it was a bit premature, but you're right, Andrews would have probably gotten knocked out at the end of the round or early on in the next one.

To everyone saying that was a bad stoppage, you're all idiots. Andrews was clearly losing and was gonna risk getting more injured than needed be. The ref stopped the fight at a good time, he saved Andrews for another fight. End of...

Ref Merchante was working for Cus D'Amato. No reason to stop it here when he did.

Every reason to stop it here, he saved further damage to andrews which allows him to fight again! He was gonna go down sooner or later and it was obvious he was getting beaten, why make them suffer more than they really have to?
