I’ve been married for going on 13 years. Before the pandemic hit, My husband and I decided that we needed a little break. Not a separation but just our own space. I moved downtown to a very cute apartment in the heart of the city while he stayed in the house. I never went to college or had a dorm experience so this was new for me as I was married so young, it was different, and it’s not for everybody. I’m back in the house as of the end of 2020 and still Kickin.

Yep, my first apartment in 2005 was a one-bedroom for 550 a month and me and my wife had to nickel and dime, put away and save, and ration out food just to pay that. Funny story, we went to Vegas one weekend on a company trip and the rent was due and automatically came out of our account while we were at a restaurant. We literally had to get up and leave before the food came out and said "on second thought, we don't need any food, the water (with a lemon) was just fine.... thank you" 😂

I signed my self out of state custody 1 day before I turned 18. Lol but they said I can stay at the group home til I graduate may 2002. Well 18 year old me decided I was grown so I left the group home jan. 1 2002 with no play to go... I got lucky I ran in to my sister and she took me to my momma and on Jan. 2 we went to a homeless shelter where kids and stay. Well they let me and my mom stay because I was sill in school I was a "kid" but my mom messed up got kicked out the shelter and they told me I can stay because I was 18 an adult and a child at the same time. The shelter paid my senior dues, paid to get me a prom dress specially made, signed me up on section 8 and moved me to my new apartment that they found for me while I was at school. So when I moved in my place I was so stressed out about my 25 dollars rent. Lol I had to pay 25 and section paid 375

I've never lived alone. I graduated started working a correction facility. Stayed there each night I worked for a dollar a night. Went to my mom's when I was off.
