Love the shade tree comment . He is totally right riding sketchy bikes is fun. Have you ridden a VTX 1300? I got the T model with the floorboards and windshield and it works great for trips or commuting. I rode mine to work with my left knee locked straight for 6 weeks after my knee surgery I had to slide back onto the passenger's seat to get my foot in the right position to shift ( hence sketched bikes are fun ) 😁 just rebuilt the carb at 52000 miles on it this last weekend mine cost only $4,400. This would be a great option for your knee issues. Have fun keep the rubber side down

Did not realize you are a technician. Thanks for the video, I know it is not easy working and filming. I have spent too many hrs and too much money on the Snap-On and Mac trucks. Now retired and loving it. Be safe, have fun.

I wouldn’t get a 2019 low ride. I bought mine new and found out the handlebars have defective bolts and had to use my knees. Also had 3 other defects. HD. discontinued the FXLRS in 2020. I sold mine and was not happy. She was loud and Beautiful.

I was maybe 12 riding with my parent's. My mom was nagging my pops about not being fun and right at that moment we saw the snap on truck stopped. He pulled over reached for a few 100s to hand to me and said go wild kid.. I was so happy and still use the 3/8ths flex head rachet to the day.. He replied to my mother.. He thinks im fun. Lol. One of my fav memories lol.

You should definitely get a dyna. It's more power then most riders need and perfect for city cruising and long road trips.

When you're over in that side of sac you should hit up Angry Chickz Nashville hott chicken. Also out past folsom is a place called ione. Great 2 lane roads for a ride and ione has a "haunted" old old correction institution from the 1800s.

I love this channel so much thank you for making these videos!! I was wondering, as a woman in motorcycle and power sports mechanics, what steps did you take to get to where you are now? Was there any backlash going into the field as a woman? I am about to drop out of college this next semester to follow my passion to get into small engine mechanics, wanting to specialize in motorcycles.

Just discovered your channel today. I’m thinking of becoming a mechanic, and your video about doing so without the schooling, is how I found you. Your story is fucking awesome! And your Wasteland Wednesday build vids are top tier! Amazing content. You are my inspiration! Please, don’t ever stop.

If you are only thinking about becoming a mechanic, it's probably not for you. I have been a professional mechanic for 40 years. Before that I was an amateur mechanic. When most kids get their first tricycle, they ride it. I took mine apart. I got my first dirt bike at age 8. It needed a top end rebuild, and the local farm mechanic helped me do it (or rather I did my best to help him) he went out of his way to explain things to me. I was hooked. I rebuilt by first car engine at 16, and started drag racing before 18. Spent 4 years in the military (as a mechanic) and have been both a professional and amateur mechanic, hot rodder, and drag racer for the last 40 years. I retired from my job earlier this year. I have several vintage cars and motorcycles. Nothing with a computer. Having to deal with computer vehicles that led to me hating my job. I was born with gasoline in my blood and a wrench in my hand. Mechanical things, mostly vehicles, have been my lifelong passion. If you don't have that passion, look elsewhere.

I already know you got a Dyna. You want to stay away from any Harley with an M8 engine. They have NO feel and they sound like a Goldwing. I have a carbureted 1989 FXRS Low Rider with an EVO engine and love it. If the engine ever wears out I'll just rebuild it, or replace it with an S&S.
