Thanks for the information! I've been using the RO All Natural for a year and a half and generally satisfied with it. It does spark more, and smaller size briquettes than than the Cowboy brand I was using, but the flavor is so much better. I prefer using briquettes in my Weber kettle, especially when I use the Slow n Sear.

Good information. I smoke on a 22" WSM and usually use Kingsford with Pecan chunks. I can get about 9 hours on most of a 20# bag at 250 to 300 deg. I will have to try the Royal Oak! Love your vidieos!

Great well made video! Nice job. I would be interested in seeing the webber briquettes and maybe the jelous devil. I read somthing about weber not available in usa anymore tho im in Canada and lots here. I watched your lump video and it was also great i would like to see some different brands and maybe just setting a set point of 250 275 and leave it there till cant maintain that setpoint. Just some ideas, love the channel and looking forward to your subscribers going up and up

I use Kingsford mostly because it is the readily available brand. Lots of haters out there but it is a solid consistent briquettes. But when I see B&B briquettes, I do not hesitate to pick up a bag or two.

Very true. B&B is a league above, but Kingsford is top notch stuff as well and won't ever compromise a cook at all.

Royal Oak used to be reliable, not sure what they put in them today. I cannot even get them to burn. I do not know about B&B, I am in Oregon. Kingsford still works for me however today I made some home made cherry lump charcoal, I also have access to Black and White, western oak, Vine Maple, and about everything that grows between the coast and the Cascades. Make your own.

Just found out the Duraflame recently bought B&B (it was family owned) Maybe B&B products will come to Oregon in the future. Thanks for commenting.

I gave you a like, however I have to say , things are not the same everywhere in the U.S. Different markets get different products. We here in Oregon seem to get the worst of the worst.

Don’t even have to watch. B&b is the winner. In 2018 I bought 30 bags of kingsford twin packs (18.6 lbs each) and I finally opened my last bag. 2 years ago Royal oak had their bags for $9 for a twin pack at Walmart. It’s different than briquettes in the video. The RO was garbage. You could literally see the sawdust and scrap in the briquettes. When lit in the chimney, it burned dirty smoke. Once it got hot and burned the scrap, it was fine. Made many a wing and steak with it. Would buy again for the price for hot n fast cooks

Sometimes I think bargain briquettes stink like they're made with construction trash and shingles. Lately, I've been noticing it happening with Kingsford too. Doesn't smell like it's just wood. Anyone else notice this?
