Good day. I have been here for more than six years and I will say that this is one of the most amazing dishes. After so many years, I still cook Korean dishes, I especially like Kimchi Chige. Prosperity to your channel and thanks for the recipe!👋👋👋

Kalbi (갈비) is a Korean short rib dish that dates all the way back to the 18th century, when slaughtering cows was illegal. However, workers that were helping build the Hwa castle needed to be fed, so the King allowed for one slaughterhouse to be opened. Centuries later, Kalbi has become one of the most well known dishes Korean culture has to offer! Here is the recipe! Ingredients: -3.5 lbs Korean short ribs -1 medium Korean pear -1 medium onion -8-9 cloves garlic -1 tsp ginger -1/3 cup soy sauce -1/3 cup cooking wine -1/3 cup brown sugar -1-2 tsp black pepper -sesame oil Directions: 1. Wash all vegetables. Chop the onion and Korean pear into quarters and throw into a food processor along with the garlic, and ginger. Blend until it has become a white creamy consistency. 2. In another bowl, mix the soy sauce, cooking wine, brown sugar, pepper, and a drizzle of sesame oil. 3. Combine the two mixtures and mix until well incorporated. Set aside. 4. Rinse the ribs under cold water to ensure any extra little bone fragments are gone. 5. Dab ribs with a paper towel and put them into an airtight container. Pour marinade on top. I like to pour the marinade over the meat in layers to make sure everything is coated nicely. 6. If you wash meat or poultry, some bacteria can be splashed on the surfaces of your kitchen. Failure to clean and sanitize these contaminated areas can lead to foodborne illness.
