Hi yes this repair would probably have cost me £200 plus parts, perhaps even more as they had to get in it first, I repair most thing I have it’s saved me a fortune over the years. Thanks for watching 🙂👍

It happened about 6pm so it was in the dark as well, but I got there in the end. Actually I think a safe might have been easier to get in🤣 thanks for watching🙂👍

I’ve got a 2005 defender and It just did exactly the same thing and was locked closed. Luckily the car was empty and I could get to it! A few months earlier and it would have been starvation in the desert. 😬

Hi yeah even with a new lock I don’t trust it, a day earlier when this happened I’d have been stuck at a job with all my tools out that pile have caused me a big problem😬 Thanks for watching🙂👍

Hi Luke, must be a common fault as last year a customers did exactly the same whilst I was there. I could get in the back but it was a 90 and like a dam oven in there. I messed about for 5 minutes but I was so hot gave up!

Yes I could be a common problem lots of the locks on eBay for sale, it wouldn’t have been to bad if it wasn’t for the bulkhead. But I like the bulkhead. Should be all good now🙂👍

that will keep you going Luke for a while should have drilled out the rivets on old one to do a inspection
