Two years ago, Jill found herself in really poor health with an overweight of 100 lbs (45 kg). She felt that her health had gotten out of control and was on a constant sugar way to make it through her days. Her body was full of inflammation and she was exhausted.
Luckily, she found the keto diet and gave it a shot. She saw results fast and that gave her the motivation to commit even more which lead to further improvements in her health.

What a testimony!!! Wow!!! I cried along!!! My daughter and I are doing our best. It's not easy to find the best meat or vegetables where we live (Amazon, Brazil), but still...we have done for 6 weeks and we have each lost 7kg, and we feel so much better!!! Thank you for this video!! It made me realize we are on the right path!!!!

I lost 85 in 8 months after finding keto. Still going strong. I do not do 'junk' keto where I try to make previous foods 'keto'. I am strict, whole food, under 20 grams of whole carbs per day. It is not expensive, it is a very doable food plan for life.

I still struggle with the unopened food I cleared out of my cupboards. Can not bring myself to give the bad Carbs to someone else. It has become this Shrine in a a box in my garage to the past. Thanks for your story - so much mirrors so many of us. Getting sick and tired - of being sick and tired.

Looking in from U.K. - when I look at photographs of people in my country in the 1960’s we all look skinny - now the majority look fat and even obese - we followed your countries food guidelines and its killing us - we need to get back our health - Keto is the answer.

It's a simple fact that we still have the same metabolic system as our hunter gatherer ancestors. We just did not evolve to make bread our daily bread. Sugar and carbs are fun, but not essential, and in excess, can be really harmful.

I also lost 60 pounds (in 1 year) with the keto diet following Dr. Berg's videos, and have kept it out for another so far with a low carb diet, not so strict. I just got my bloodwork results and for 2 consecutive years have been great! In my opinion (and per experience) you just have to educate yourself before jumping into any sort of diet.

Diet Doctor, thank you for your informative video! It helps a lot! Unfortunately, you have a spelling error. It should be "led", not "lead". The present tense verb is "lead" and rhymes with feed. The past tense verb is "led" and rhymes with fed. The "lead", that rhymes with fed, is a noun and a metal.

I had lived a low carb life for five years then let someone convince me to stop and eat the American Diet. Over a year I became fat and ill again then it dawned on me. You are damaging your health listening to others. I have been back low carb for 10 days and already feeling better, dropped 5 pounds and my joints have stopped hurting. Sometime I am a slow learner!!!!!

Magnesium supplement 400 mg per day, slow release if you can get it. Drink water and add electrolytes if you get a headache.
@TravisInCanada1
@TravisInCanada1 5 жыл бұрын
The "keto flu" is the result of Electrolyte deficiency (Magnesium, Potassium and Sodium) I would recommend doing some research on the topic of Electrolytes and Keto as it is a very important (but easy) part of this lifestyle to maintain. The concern primarily comes from people not doing enough research to not only understand that you must be aware of these minerals but also why. With that said, as long as you are getting enough of these essential minerals you will not experience the "Keto Flu".

Get some Redmond Real Salt and add 1 tsp of it to your water twice a day. That should take care of the 'flu'. After it's done, continue taking 1 tsp a day as your body will need it.
