I dont think he will play that many versions maybe 3 total I predict, too many and it's too absurd, needs to be Richard's and Kang the conqueror and maybe an actual named immortus making he who remains a 4th variant total in all the mcu

I agree 💯 it has so much potential for story writing and character arcs for heroes and villains alike I just hope if they dont do more than necessary various Kangs that they know when less is more , they seem on a downward spiral according to some fans since endgame

6:35 I don't think the nexus event on lamentis was them falling in love. I think the spike in the timeline was because Loki and Sylvie were actually going to die and He Who Remains needed them to be alive so that the events in episode 6 could take place.

I thought the same thing when I saw the final episode. Everything that happened up until that point was planned, so if they died that would have changed the course of history and caused the nexus event. But Kang does also mention that Loki and Sylvie had a special connection and are two beings capable of ruling the TVA only together. So it could really be either their love or Kang that caused the nexus event. Both are good answers

I just realized this, subtle reference maybe? In endgame, tony used something called a mobius strip, which is shaped like a "ring" to solve the whole time travel thing. It is interesting how the character mobius keeps leaving "rings" on renslayer's desk in the TVA.

He may be the only one who is in a different timeline. If there's multiple TVA's now then the B15 and Mobius we watched all season are still in that timeline and Loki was sent to a different one

Tine travel is always fun to watch but it never makes any sense within marvel, even writers and directors of Endgame have different opinions about Cap going back and living his life in alternate timeline/ going back and staying in the same timeline without interfering in events

@@dipanshumishra2655 those Lokis must be variants to that particular sacred timeline's universe which consists of our TVA, where as the other universe has different variants of Lokis branching off that sacred timeline and are taken by that version of the TVA, or maybe they don't have Lokis in that universe since Mobius(not-our) doesn't seems to recognize the god of mischief. Hopefully this gets explained more vividly in season 2 or the upcoming films.

It’s not a different timeline. The tva exists outside of time. So loki was pushed to the end of the next multiversal war. Hence why he who remains said “I’ll just end up right back here.” Loki essentially skipped to the end of the story. In this war, kang the conqueror won instead of he who remains

@@IknowMoreThanYou In the comicverse Thanos is see to be at a SIGNIFICANTLY higher tier than Kang, to the point where even with Kang's mastery of time travel, he wants to stay as far as possible from Thanos's affairs unless outright necessary. But then again that is the comicverse... though in the MCU at least He Who Remains seems to be pretty much human tier in physiology, just with sufficiently advanced tech. (Thanos wouldn't have died from the puny stab Sylvie did, considering Thanos can outright fight against Hulk, and took the stormbreaker on his shoulder and still survived long enough to snap and escape.)

What I need, actually, is to see the brainstorming session of the writers. I want to see just how it all comes together...this massive piece of confusing plot that they simplify and convolute just in the right proportion so as to cater to both Audience group: The one that just wants to have some fun while watching it, and the other which will happily dive deeper into the lore.

Also maybe the reason why Mobious doesn’t remember Classic Loki, Kid Loki, and Lokigattor is because they’ve been there from past cycle or prunned by different universe’s TVA.

No that doesn't make any sense because the timeline hasn't branch out yet during the previous episode which means there's only 1 official timeline running 1 kang and the tva 1 is the only tva clearing those branched out timelines, there are tons of loki variants Branching out and mobius is not the only arresting officer the loki variants is just like tuesday no biggy for those loki being pruned until sylvie and our loki happened..

Jonathan did an amazing performance. Love how he made his character crazy but reasonable when he talks! The jumping in the table and laughing, he’s going to have a blast with these multiple versions if he did that for one.

Tricky cuz TVA see different versions of Loki not the same Loki during different parts in time. Just a bunch of what if characters. So how can there be different TVA what would their job be if there are one TVA for each universe/timeline. If kang live outside of time how can there be different versions.

Kang said his tempat device was pre loaded because he knew what was going to happen. Kang might have chose the destination before he set his device down in front of both the lokis. So this might be kang's decision as much a sylvies.

I just assumed that there is one TVA, who ever wins the war sets up the TVA how they see fit. With HWR dead, another Kang, goes on to win the war and set up the TVA. It is both a different tva, but in the same dimensional space. Loki doesnt change cause he's part of the reason everything changed, but for MMM and hunter 15, they didnt go to the citadel, they're a part of the tva. I dont think Mobius was lying when he said time passes differently in the TVA.

HWR was right. Because in a sense, HWR is an older Kang (be it variant) who's prime and conquering hobbies has passed. Becoming the HWR is like a custodian of time. a chronicler, historian. And in comics, Kang hates his older self. because it was past his prime.

But anyways, the reason this other Kang wouldn't prune the other timelines besides his own is because this version is Kang the Conqueror (presumably by his outfit and the statue demonstrating his pride and ego). Kang the Conqueror would not prune the other timelines because the branching gives him more timelines/realities to conquer. Basically, he wants to conquer more universes/timelines/realities, so he wouldn't prune the timelines and he'll let them branch.

Just saying the scarlet witch is actually mentioned in the last episode. When he says we have passed the threshold it is at the exact time in the wanda vision episode the scarlet witch is reborn. This is because the scarlet witch becomes a nexus being in this branch of reality.

The TVA has to exist outside of the MCU primary universe. That's why the Infinity Stones don't work there. But that doesn't mean the TVA isn't capable of having its own pocket universe branch off as well.

Would that help though? If TVA has changed, it suggests that the sacred timeline has changed as well (if there still is a sacred timeline at all), and since the Void is part of the timeline, it must have changed too. So if Loki prunes himself, he may (or may not) land in the Void again, but it would likely be a different Void (in an alternate timeline) and Sylvie wouldn't be there.

I feel like they legit need scientists/quantum physicists to help them write these amazingly complicated yet entertaining plots that actually kinda make sense. People that knock these shows and movies as if they are childish and not sophisticated enough don't know what they are talking about.

My thought on that last scene was that on the TVA the time travel “logic” from back to the future could apply because the TVA exists “out of time”. If there’s no multiple TVAs, and there’s no nexus events inside it, maybe just there that rule applies. At least that’s how I thought of it 🤔

The TVA is outside of ALL timelines. There is only one TVA. Loki went back to the same TVA he was always in. The reason it’s different is because since Syl killed He Who Remains, it was like he never existed, so without him it’s as if he never pruned other timelines to begin with. Thus, when Loki goes back to the TVA, Kang has taken over the TVA as he would have if He Who Remains had never existed in the first place.

No, the first TVA was outside of that just that one timeline that went around the citadel inside the blackhole. Their job was to prune branches to they don't cross the threshold and connect with other universes's timelines. Each universe has its own TVA that does that same thing.

Erik, the branching of the timeline is likely a result of the parallel events in the TVA, where Mobius helped to free all the hunters. They were watching while the timeline crossed the red line of cascading nexus events - instead of jumping in with reset charges. I think Kang knew this. He was aware that the combination of Loki and Sylvie would cripple the functionality of the TVA and allow the multiverse to break out. He purposefully delayed Sylvie and Loki from the inevitable as his real gameplan evolved Renslayer. You could see the timeline unraveling while they were sitting there; it is the natural flow of time when there is no TVA to prune it properly . If he had not done so, Loki and Sylvie might have gone back to the TVA 'in time' to help Mobius, and stopped Renslayer. Kang wanted to ensure that a variant from his choice would gain an advantage, which is what Renslayer was sent out to achieve. Another fun details: perhaps the Nexus event that breaks open the timeline might very well be Wanda becoming the Scarlet Witch during Wandavision.

Kang has monitoring on the timeline in the multiverse from his location and from the TVA, but I believe he cannot easily modify what happens inside the TVA. That's why it's ran in such a strict and predictable way. Kang has no TVA to correct the TVA. Loki caused a chain effect inside the TVA, which Kang can see, but cannot change. That's why he knew that Loki was coming, but not beyond that point.

Initially The He who remains showed the Loki's the paper about how he knows everything that's gonna happen. But later he said they crossed the threshold meant that after that even he didn't know the future from that moment. So it was upto Sylvie to make a choice whether to start the multiverse or prevent it from happening.

It's not really "himself" per se. The director confirmed variants only have the same role in their universe and a temporal aura. Hence why B-15 or somebody said, "we've gathered enough temporal aura to know he's a Loki," They also don't have the same parents or DNA. There was a Hulk Loki, Black Loki, Alligator Loki, and other weird Lokis lmao

Well, when Mobius says that time flows differently in the TVA, that implies that time DOES flow through the TVA somehow. That suggests it's still part of the timeline, and the reason it seemed like "neutral ground" is likely because the sacred timeline was isolated. It's unlikely there would be any Nexus Events in the TVA because everyone there has their mind wiped and works like a slave. But now that the timeline has branched out, it's totally likely that the TVA itself also branched with it.

The timeline fractured when Kang sensed something before he was killed I think he sensed his replacement as the nexus being by the rebirth of the Scarlet Witch at the end of Wanda Vision.

This is very close to how I thought of it. In my mind, if stopping multiple timelines meant stopping other Kangs from existing, then the second there is a split the variant of that timeline would've created a TVA of their own for their specific timeline (if that's what that variant wanted to do). It might not answer all the questions but if there are multiple TVAs then to me this is how that would make sense.

Respectfully disagree. I think this is the same and only TVA, but it has been changed by Kang traveling to the past and building it in his image instead of the image of the Timekeepers. I don’t think the Mobius who befriended Loki exists any longer, he has been overwritten by Kang’s changes.

Correct this is the same TVA possible re-written or memories wiped. Throughout the the multi-verse there is only one TVA. There isn't different variations of TVA. In the comics there was always only one because the TVA exists outside of time.

I think because they're at the end of time in their timeline, Loki's and HWR are watching all the timelines/universes appear all at once - because to their perspective, being at the end of time - everything that has happened before that moment has to all happen simultaneously to anyone at the citadel witnessing the timelines breaking apart. The multiverse has always existed, it just appears exists to beings at different points in time in different timelines/universes. The TVA being a neutral ground is disregarded as soon as the keeper of the TVA ceases to exist, and all roads lead to Kang so another variant took over and most likely did a memory wipe like the previous Kang (HWR) did.

No one says there is just one sacred timeline, the ending means many kangs rule their own sacred timeline ring to maintain parallel to others. Once one nexus branch reached another timeline, even TVA timepad can't control which timeline to travel to, that's madness.

I think that they had to prevent nexus events from generating so that universes didn't intertwine. I think that potentially makes the most sense. I think multiple universes with multiple tva's always existed but they didn't share any timelines with one another and existed separately to one another without any crossover. When they stopped managing the rogue strands of the timelines this caused the timelines to cross strands with one another. And that's why loki ended up in another timeline when he was sent back through the portal, because that other timeline with the kang statue always existed but as both timelines were being managed by the tva, there wasn't any overlap, but now there is, and instead of single lines of time, all the timelines are merging to create a big web of time, which therefore opens the MCU universe up to other universes, hence the multiverse.

I just assumed it's 1 central timeline branching. Maybe this go around Kang chose not to use the 3 watchers of the timeline or simply not have switched over to the 3 watchers history. It's proven in the first timeline that the TVA varients didn't know they were variants. (Maybe brainwashed or whatever) Maybe the TVA reverted back to how it started out as. They just assume Loki is a Analysis person. Maybe this Kang (if it is Kang) who's running the TVA is around maybe pruning timelines does nothing right now because he doesn't control the monster yet to kill the people from the timelines.

I think the timeline is a never-ending loop, because they say it started with a Multiversal war, and Loki ends with a Multiverse being created. Also the building they were in was called the Citadel at the END OF TIME. Kang said that they had passed the threshold when he didn’t know anything else. I think he knew everything until the end of time, then when it looped back to the Sacred Timeline splitting and everything beginning again.

It was mentioned in one of your post episode live shows, but never again that the TVA may be in the Quantum Realm, and I think that makes the most sense. Establishing a "safe" base of operations for a single timeline that exists more or less 'out of time' would be easy enough for Kang to do with his vast knowledge, when we just got an explanation of how the Avengers could use the Quantum Realm to travel *through* time, it's not hard to imagine there could be a place there, where Mobius and all the other agents could live "nearly a hundred years" and not age, while carrying out their duties and pruning the timeline branches. I think in Antman 3 we'll see the TVA from the outside- within the Quantum Realm, and that's why it becomes Antman's fight. He's one of the only hero's who regularly uses it, or goes into it at all, for that matter, with the exception of Endgame.
