Magnetic dust collection Hose connecting / DIY

Equipment used as a mobile device, not fixed machines, requires the removal and removal of the dust collection hose. If it's the same diameter hose and connection hole, we can fit it in ourselves, but this is very cumbersome.
I made equipment that can easily connect dust collection hoses and various equipment using magnets. In addition to mobile equipment, magnetic equipment of the same diameter anywhere makes it very convenient to connect the dust collection hose.

I love this idea! Magsafe power connectors have kept me from destroying my laptop countless times over the years, and applying the same idea to vacuum hoses is one of those things I look at and say "of COURSE that's the way to do it!" Obvious after you see it!

A good add on would be some kind of ear lobe shape on the ring so you can disconnect it without pulling on the hose directly.

There was a way like that. It wasn't that hard to remove, so I didn't consider it. I will definitely have to adopt your idea in an upgraded version. It's great to see ideas being shared and developed like this. Thank you.

Die Idee ist großartig. Nur an dem Ring bei dem Schlauch würde ich einen Griff oder einen Seil anbringen, damit der Schlauch durch ständiges Dran- und Abmachen nicht kaputt geht. Sonst ist es wirklich einfach, jedoch effektiv.

Very nice! One suggestion: Place a strip or spot of tape over the magnets to protect them from breaking as they are very brittle.

That's a good comment. In fact, it is easy for magnets to break if they collide with each other. Instead, I did not cover the magnets in the tight holes because they are less likely to break, but I think it would be better to tape them as you suggested if I get the chance. thank you!

Tolle idee, ich habe für meine Ladekable am Telefon usw. auch Magnetkupplungen, einziger nachteil in der Werkstatt und das wird diese gezeigten Kupplungen auch betreffen sie ziehen metallstaub an der z.b. beim Flexen entsteht, bei einer reinen Holzwerstatt kein Problem

Das ist ein guter Kommentar. sie haben Recht. Insbesondere haften mehr Eisenspäne an Magneten in der Nähe der Bohrmaschine. Es kann etwas nervig sein. Allerdings glaube ich, dass der Magnet am Staubsammelschlauch auch verhindert, dass Eisenstaub in den Staubsammler gesaugt wird. Ich denke eher, dass es eine gute Funktion sein könnte.
