So many of the interviewers are grossly patronizing when they make a comment on how "tiny" or "cute" she is. . . . this is a full grown woman with two children, a husband, and a self-built tidying empire - show her the same respect you'd show any other wildly successful entrepreneur and subject matter expert.

Ok, so this interview brought me so much JOY!!!! Marie was treated with respect, and appreciation of her really good method. I watched the Ellen's interview and that brought me negative feelings and I was so disappointed at how they treated her and laughed at her method. However, this interview was amazing and gave me back my JOY!!! Now I'm full of positive energy.

Wow, my step-bro introduced me to her Netflix show (lonf story short, we had a very weird conversation that ended up him telling me about it) about a month ago, and I'm already seeing her on the news! I love her :3

The only thing I wasn’t too keen on was her and everything being called “so cute.” Maybe cause I’ve had to deal with that my whole life and it just makes you not feel on the same level as everyone else. But honestly, this is probably one of my favorite interviews with her on a talk show because the woman actually took the Q&A and demonstrations pretty seriously, unlike many others. She was very impressed with her method and was excited to do it, which I was thankful for. Though, the people in the studio were kind of laughing, she was still pretty into the session. Also, I loved how when Ida started translating/interpreting, she said, “I love this.” I think she truly did love hearing the responses from Marie and Ida, and I really appreciate that. It’s, also, beneficial that they took time to do this and not just 5-minutes, because many things get overlooked and rushed when that happens. So, I am very thankful that this one was a pretty good interview for these talk shows.

tidying up is very normal to Japanese. They even have this 5S method which they learn early in school👌 U shld see their taxis, super neat even with all those printed ads and laminated infomercials. ...taxi drivers normally have coin trays , a otebook and a pen 😁

I see people getting upset that she's being called cute and "treated like a child", but you have to know that most likely it's not considered offensive to Marie. Being cute and childlike (Kawaii) is something many Japanese women aspire to, no matter age. It's a cultural thing.

Anyway, I've been inspired to tidy up my home after seeing how Mari actually has a positive attitude in cleaning up and also the effect of having your home in order. That is the true key.
