This series makes it pretty obvious he's never lived someplace where it gets really cold in winter; a good Snowball hurts as much as getting shot by by paintball gun and icicles get sharp as knives, heavy as a lampstand, and very dangerous. You grow up in a cold place, you grow up knowing how to be careful with this stuff.

From the moment that Mark chose to hit the bird, it triggered a lot to change the story. I remember watching Pewds play this game and there was a mention about how killing animals in the area is a bad thing...and by hitting that bird to death, something already changed...which results to that icicle falling and nearly killing Mike/Jess. :D MARK, NEVER KILL ANIMALS WHILE PLAYING THIS xD

I don't blame him. And everyone chooses to not hit the bird, it's cool to see the other choices and the consequences. +nayld esrom I agree but with every youtuber ive watched not one of them hit the bird,and mark's LP of this is the 4th one ive watched.Pretty much all of them refused to throw a snowball even before it gave them the option too.Ah,it does kind of annoy me the fact that he hit the bird but only because it left a dramatic effect that could of killed at least 1 of the characters,or it might be adrenaline from finally seeing a different effect after 3 times watching the same path.Whether it would of killed them if he hadn't of hit the correct button in time i don't know.

Due to their very light skeletons in order to achieve flight, birds are actually rather fragile animals, especially when they're that small. So yeah, it's conceivable that a snowball thrown hard enough could kill one.
