At the time gmw came out my dad had left me and my mom and i had a best friend that was bubbly like riley. Of course she still had her own family problems but she was still so happy. So yeah u can imagine why now sabrina is one of my most favorite actresses. Because i related to maya and i actually felt that i was maya.

Lucas chose riley. Of course. The happy kid with no problems. The girl with all the luxury she needs. The bubbly riley who has a whole family. But everyone forgets about the broken girl. No one chooses maya. It was always riley. Riley everything and im sick and tired of it. I used to ship lucaya, yes. But now I'm just mad at the writers. How could he choose riley? Why does riley have everything she wants? And what's left for maya??? Maya liked lucas and lucas chose someone else. It was MAYA that pushed riley at the subway station that day to talk to lucas. It was maya who was broken, but it was also maya who is giving for her best friend. Maya does deserve better.

But soon there would be a Maya and a Josh, she has a father figure that cares about her now, her mother is around more, and I feel like Maya's life was always meant to be more realistic than Riley's. From the beginning I knew Lucas will pick Riley, because to me the guy she really actually liked was Josh, even when the love triangle was around Maya was still really into Josh. To me Lucas was just a rebound crush because Josh was older than her and wouldn't act on it.

leo_with_the_mane there is no "soon". Gmw isn't getting a season 4. But what we're left with w/ joshaya is "i'll play the long game." And having an abandoned father and a mother that isn't there for you isn't "realistic", it's character abuse.

no it's realistic for many people. My father left me, mother had to work so she wasn't around much. I feel like since the writers gave that story to Maya they realized there's people in this situation in reality. And maybe they didn't wanna make it so unrealistic but hopeful for those kids that watched it.

AlohaEdits exactly I feel as Maya gives her all & she always backs away for others happiness when will they give Maya happiness I'm currently in Maya shoes & it sucks the pain hurts so bad & its crazy because no one realizes if Lucas didn't won't Maya it would've never been a triangle but I feel season 4 gone unwrap more because I've peeped Alot of things in this show that others might not & im pretty sure that it tells Lucaya is not over yet.

The story "Girl Meets World" is about riley they put a girl who had everything to be the main character she had a family,she had a nice home,she ate everyday without a care But then there's a broken girl,who had nothing,her mom wasn't here,her dad left them,and she always ate her emotions she would feel sometime of way but no one knows what she's feeling cause she eats them up The story is "Girl Meets World" it's about a girl who had everything but if the story were "Girl Meets Life" it would be about a broken girl who would never give up in life but tries to make a living out of it who never gives up because she knows she has a future ahead of her I like that story it has a meaning to it...........But do you like it what message does that story give you?

Halo Falls it’s about both of them girls And how both of them are broken but together. Together they are perfect and they loose themselves a lot but always come back to eachother. Riley isn’t perfect She has a good home and a good life but she insecure and cares way too much of what others think of her and wants everyone to be happy. Even when she’s not. Even when she was being bullied. She didn’t want to tell anyone cuz it’ll show she’s not all sunshine and rainbows and not the perfect girl she wants everyone to believe her to be

petition to have a third show called Girl Meets Life where Riley moves out and ends up kind of like Mayas family, working 24/7 unable to eat some days never socialising anymore and finally realising what Maya went through and hides the struggle (again) and we see her finally evolving and learning what the real world had in store for her whereas Maya is actually better off and offers help to Riley and she refuses and finally Riley is a better friend to Maya because she finally fully understood part of what Maya went through

Did you watch the show? He didn't choose Riley, He chose Maya, but Maya sacrificed her love for him for Riley, it's also ridiculous you think Riley has no problems. Riley had problems, she didn't talk about them as openly as Maya, I think Rileys whole "bubbly happy" persona was fake, she had a breakdown over ONE person.

Maya may like Josh. But is it a cover up? Because Lucas and Riley are happy, and she isnt but doesnt want them to know. So if she moves on then they wont notice. They wont care. They have eachother Maya has no one, she want's to know what love feels like unlike her parents. She felt it for Lucas, she felt it for Josh. But in return Lucas chose Riley Josh is making her wait She really doesn't have anyone.

Maya needs a lot more episodes about her. The show is basically about Riley in the perspective of Maya. Riley is the one with a father, a mother at home, some people to love (except that maya loves riley) so she basically has a perfect life. Are people forgetting about Maya, the girl with out a father? The girl who has to go home hoping her parents will be home for dinner? The girl hoping her father will come back? They make stupid episodes about small things of Riley. When she lost her bear, Maya wanted tacos but she didn’t get any because Riley was too focused on her bear until she realised it was childish and got tacos? So she wasted so much time. Like when Charlie asked her to the dance instead of Lucas, she had to make a big deal about it but she could’ve just gone with Charlie but because she likes Lucas more, she had to make a scene.

Most people who comment probably don’t realize that a lot of the happy bubbly people are actually waking up every morning just to put a smile on there face. Even though I personally am angry at the writers, the reason is because they ended the show to early. I think that if they continued to do the show we would have been able to dig more into rilly’s mind. Which would help more people understand how someone who has a mental illness lives.

It makes me angry how everyone says “Maya deserves better!” “Riley gets everything” WHEN Maya got her happy ending! Shawn! She always wanted a family and we knew that since season 1 she always hoped for a happy family and for Shawn and her Mum to get together! I’m glad that Maya got that! She got the Dad she deserved!Her dreams came true!

maya broke her own heart so her friend could be happy she sent lucas to riley when he chose her it was maya that first pushed riley on the bus it was always her but she hurts herself not to hurt her friend and i just realized how much maya shaped my personality since i watched this show so much growing up... and riley was so selfish she didn’t care what maya felt and blames maya for changing when all that changed were her clothes and hair

Everyone needs a Riley. That’s always been me, the girl with no problems, the perfect family, the perfect life. And when I started high skl I met my maya. She lives with her gran because her dad is in jail and her mum is an addict. She is the most amazing person in the world. She is always there for everyone else but never opens up about how she’s feeling. She gets into fights at skl and goes out drinking on the weekends. I asked her why, why do you go looking to get suspended from skl, why do you try to get urself grounded? Her answer was ‘because it helps. It helps not having to go to skl and face the world, it helps knowing that when someone asks me to go out somewhere I can always say I’m sorry, I’m grounded.’ Last night she attempted suicide. She told me that she loved me and that she would always be with me no matter how far away she seemed. I couldn’t cope. I broke down. Why her? Take me instead. Please just not my angel. She wasn’t successful. I’m not sure what I’m meant to do now. Do I speak to a teacher at skl? Should I try and speak to her gran? I don’t know, but I do know that I’ll never take what I have for granted xxx

I've never replied anyone till now....but I kinda know whatever your friend is feeling. I know because of a reason. Hug your friend tight....let her cry.....cry till ...there are no more tears left....let her know that whatever happens you are there for her always....talk about what she likes....talk about the little things that make you both happy....talk about the things she dreamt of doing or achieving....if u can...take her sumwhere....it can be a trip ...or just a park nearby but only if she's willing to...get her smg to eat...smg she likes....or better cook smg for her....let her know how important she is to you....tell her all the gud things abt her...do anything u think might work cuz u r her best friend and u would know better than anyone else...

These comments are getting really tiring and annoying, Riley didn't have a perfect life, I'm going to assume you only watch clips from youtube because Lucas chose Maya at first, Maya made Lucas chose Riley so Riley would be happy. ngl I'm glad Lucas chose Riley instead of Maya, cus Lucas had liked Riley since day 1 and you could tell that Maya had WAYY more feelings for Josh than she did for Lucas. Though I don't agree with Maya becoming Riley to like Lucas, I do agree with Riley being a better choice for Lucas since it's something everyone agreed for.
