Mercedes CLA -car bucking while accelerating -CEL P0339-Crankshaft Position Sensor fix! Cheap Fix!

As part of my channel I buy and sell cars as a hobby and while driving this 2014 Mercedes CLA 4Matic Sport Package under hard acceleration the car would jerk/buck and was very concerning ..found out it was a $100 fix (my cost) for the crankshaft position sensor

Let me start by saying that you are the best of the best I went to Mercedes-Benz they tried to replace my transmission a lot of money I saw your video I went to my mechanic I fixed the problem for only $196 parts and labor thanks to you thank you very much I have a 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA 250 base model

Years ? All the time was acting up? People would have traded theirs cars in if dealer couldn't figure it out ...but Im glad my video helped out! Enjoy your CLS !

Mine started doin this abt a month ago I was terrified i feel a little better now lol, i did the same thing as him i drove it "easy" 😭 because I was scared of my engine blowing up but thank god for youtube

@@BaldadonisMike2021 you have this problem only with "cold" engine ? And when the temperature of the oil It s ok and the car works/ run well? Because i have the same problem that you are talking in this video but only when the engine of my a250 2014 Is cold . Sorry for my english i am italian and thanks for the answer

Randomly..but it got worse it I stepped on the gas pedal aggressive ..but its a cheap fix.. @@francescojure313

I just decided to search the issue , i took mine to Mercedes and they have no idea what it could be , from my understanding since the check engine light hasn't appeared they said they cannot locate the issue still extremely weird and unprofessional for Mercedes to tell you just drive the car until it stalls on you!! Well that's the thing..If no CEL Light is on it wont read on a scanner(most of the time) So until it happens again you would have to drive it ..be annoyed ..then try to get it back for them to look at it..it sucks going back and forth to dealership or a repair shop and they cant do anything about it! Hopefully you ll get it fixed soon..Let me know how it goes!

@@BaldadonisMike2021follow up YES !! Replacing that sensor has fixed the problem, I have driven at least 10000 miles no issue, drives like new again. Thank you for your help

Off my head..I do not know..but if your van does the same thing as the cars w the bucking I would look into that first..thanks for the comment and let me know when you solve the issue

I think i have the same problem with my cla 220 . If im in gear 2 to pass gear 3 my cla jerk . And my gas dosent go up to 1800 . And turns me on engine light . What do you think it is the same problem ?

Hi, Ive been having the same issue with my merc and yes I agree it did freak me out really bad the first time the car jerked violently to the point that I was really scared to drive the car and decided to go back to my old trusted Honda accord. I did a lot of research of the subject and found almost nothing, however one day I decided to purchase a middle range scanner and guess what? Code P033904 came up, I searched for some installation videos on youtube but there was none, I will make one and help anyone out there with the same issue.

My friend ordered it for me from his parts vendor..$50..I dont recall what brand we used..Bosch ? I just dont remember and I sold the car a few weeks ago..BUT what a relief its inexpensive to fix!

I have symptom of bad shifting around 1-2-3 shifts. MB service says no issue with transmission. I dont have any cps sensor error. My car in C Class 2016 7 g transmission. When i have hard acceleration, at the moment of gear changes, it feels like car stops for milliseconds and accelerate again. This results slagisg gear change. Do you believe my car issue can be CPS sensor?

Hey my man-i just watched your little clips ! Your in Sport mode..also in Sport mode try just flooring it to see if the shifting goes longer into the rpm range you might be not giving it enough throttle ? But thats nothing like the issue in my video..put it back in normal mode see how it shifts..it should shift quicker to save fuel..so it goes to high gear quickly ..let me know!

@@BaldadonisMike2021 Hi man!! Yes, when i press hard gas pedal and press the bottom button, then it goes high rpms. But problem is that shiftings are nit comfortable, you will like something wrong with transmission. This is in all driving modes. Sometimes no issue in shiftings but sometimes there is

@@elchinlatifov9086 miles? maybe time for fresh trans fluid? Every 40-50k I think..How long have you had the car? Is it something you are not use to ? vs other cars ..If you had it for awhile and all of a sudden its acting different then I would be ,ok something is up

I have a 16 c300 mercedes In the morning after warming up día good 5-10 mints . The car stalls when taking off. Meaning if I want to pass a car in the road and floor it it does an engine break stall. If I continue to push it. It goes into limp mode until I restart the car. I do not have an engine light. I’ve taken the car to various Machanic and no one can figure it out. Can someone please help.

Man I just bought the same car and I'm having this problem. I go to accelerate hard and the car jerks violently then goes. No check engine light, but I noticed limp mode today
