Күн бұрын

Today we find ourselves in North Carolina attending the Digstock metal detecting event. We explore the farm fields and woods with our metal detector and even manage to rustle up a peanut for a snack.
About Aquachigger:
I enjoy metal detecting for historical items like gold coins, relics, silver coins, and other buried treasures. I also metal detect for gold and silver nuggets and even meteorites. I like to make videos that promote my choice of lifestyle that includes outdoor adventure,
metal detecting, yapping, searching for river treasure, SCUBA diving, exploring abandoned places, hiking, caving, caring for animals and pets, and observing the things outdoors that often go unnoticed by most people who are not familiar with outdoor adventures and nature. I keep my KZfaq "Aquachigger" channel family-friendly and hope you subscribe if you like my style.
BTW, you can also catch me here, / chiggsarmy ,but I may get a little edgier there. FB isn't a place for kids anyway...lol.

8:51 Many of the Rebel solders were forced by the lack of rations and hunger to eat peanuts out of the fields, They eat so many that they grew sick and tired of them. That's how the song Eating Goober Peas came about. Glad to see a historian like the Chigg carrying on the tradition. Later on in the evening you might do a Rebel Yell followed by the Rebel Runs. lol.

I could feel your pain when you were in the briars! I was cutting some cedar trees this weekend and got into the briars myself, and a lot of blood was shed! Making another comment regarding the "trash pile" you were looking through. I am AMAZED at the laziness of people that can carry a FULL HEAVY BOTTLE of soda or water out into the field and yet CANNOT carry that EMPTY AND LIGHTWEIGHT bottle or can back out with them. The fact that these were "designated trash" sites does not hold water with me either (no pun intended), as this is simply a lack of respect for the landowner. Is it any wonder that landowners turn down permission for metal detecting, hunting, etc.? Rant over.

I have that happen on 24k gold detector. Found out it needs the ground to have some balance. I found out mine goes nuts when the sensitivity high. Just turn it off and it will reset. Or try a less sensitive setting when your looking for target in hole. One other option is to ha e coil lay flat.

@@johnramirez5032 i ground balanced, held power to reset, switched frequencies, adjusted sensitivity, pulled the batteries. Best it would do is act right then go nuts when it detected any signal at all. Took it home, acts fine. And I've detected that place before.
