Love hearing about how excited Trumpets was for his first race. I remember the first time I went to testing in barcelona, and my hairs were standing on end just from walking up to the circuit and being able to hear the cars. There's no other feeling like it! Oh and for us telly watchers, I think the majority can agree that it wasn't a procession. Maybe slightly if it weren't for the safety car, but even then it still would have been the best out of the 3.

One thing missing in the Piastri/Sainz summary was that Sainz did briefly lose control of the car, the rear stepped out and that's when the contact occurred. The stewards mentioned it in their report (although in the mitigation section, because it was evidence that he intended to keep a tighter line). So it's probably unfair to say that Piastri was naively expecting Sainz to keep to the apex - probably more accurate to say he was expecting Sainz to keep to the trajectory he was on, rather than briefly lose the rear and run wider.

Sainz lost control and parked it in the middle of the turn. How is this even a question? Piastri hit him because he didn’t expect a car to be stopped in the middle of the corner.

Looking at the conversations around antonelli and Max verstappen being these prodigies and out of these wall talents but everyone is still not ready to put them in a race winning championship winning car because obviously it is very difficult to jump into a championship winning car that being said Lewis Hamilton came in dominated from day one and there are people still questioning if he got lucky

I have no clue why people are saying he could win without the safety car. In dirty air trying to pass numerous fast cars in the middle of a DRS train is highly unlikely.

This channel is showing your anti Piastri bias as usual. No mention that Piastri didn't have the full upgrade package and his team stupidly pitted him 30 seconds before magnussen caused the vsc and likely costing piastri 1st or 2nd. What team pitts the race leader to make sure his team mate beats him? Piastri will be a better driver than his teamate imo. He will only put up with Zac Brown manipulating results in Lando's favour for so long. Sainz should have received no points for obviously taking out Piastri on purpose and costing Piastri a likely podium. Sainz is desperate and every driver on the grid knows it. No wonder Ferrari got rid of him.

we havon nr 1 again instead of when he was behind the safetycar he has not pitting and he came on place 5 if he pit e a new winner because the stupid safetycar driver hows drive for max sow lando can pit free and come

Wow, and how was Max gifted a championship in 2021. Safety car. Next, Lando was doing much faster laps than max way before the safety car every lap was almost a purple fastest lap. Lando was going to get the undercut on Max at his pit stop anyway. Max still should have gotten the jump on lando at the restart but couldn't and got left behind. Lando was going to win that race no matter what Max did, and everyone who could see the live timing could see that.
