In this clip, Michael Franzese started out by responding to Vlad asking if he knew former Colombo associate Andy Russo, and Michael revealed that Andy was his first captain, who he says treated him very well. Michael went on to explain that seeing guys like Andy going in and out of prison proved to him that there's no quality of life in the mob world. Michael then pointed out that his father's own relationship and involvement in the mob drove a wedge in their family. Michael explained that he heard about his father putting a hit out on him and his brother, and while he doesn't think his father would've carried out the hit, he also doesn't think he'd stand in to stop it. I don’t blame Michael from walking away. My dad did 16 years from drug trafficking with the Juarez cartel and it destroyed my family my childhood and my life I had to be the man of the house at the age of 8 and my dad didn’t snitch he coulda got 2 years but he refused to snitch on his higher ups and got 16 years but now he’s out but got deported back to Mexico

It sucks they only glossed on Joey Massino at the end of the clip. Massino was an actual sitting boss who turned witness on everyone which is still really shocking considering how he's from the old glory days of the mob. They hung a death sentence over him and he turned witness to save his wife and family from having their houses and shit taken away by the government. So he became a witness and basically snitched on everyone he knew including his own Bonnano people - when HE was the one who gave the orders as boss! It really goes to show and illustrate how nothing is sacred anymore and street codes and shit mean as much as they are when they're actually tested.
