While I do see where he’s coming from, why would you take out a 10k loan without any documented, signed agreement? You can just bank on someone else’s word. That’s his business and he needs to be financially responsible. That part is on him. Like yeah, it would’ve been nice if she kept her word but she didn’t 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m not a Mikayla fan BUT this guy was foolish to take out a 10k loan without first telling her, then trying to blame her for his unwise choice, he’s not very bright. She is flakey no doubt esp if she’s not being paid but doing paid reviews is how she makes a lot of her money so I can’t fault her, she wasn’t under contract with him therefore there was no obligation. This was all just a favor. Had he told her “hey I’m taking out a loan based on your review” perhaps she would have known & done the review faster? This guy also went from 71k to 250k new tiktok followers since posting his video so he got the clout he wanted. I still think overall HE is responsible for HIS business decisions.

I think she's weird as hell for never delivering, but continuing to promise him the video, but I also think he was way too timid. After taking out that 10k loan he took three weeks to question her on the issue. He should've kept pressing the issue and letting her know that he took out a 10k loan just for this video. he jumped the gun a little too early in my opinion, but I just wonder why she felt the need to lie over and over again to him. Both made some questionable decisions.

I have honestly never watched Mikayla but I love Spill Sesh. This is the second video I have seen about Mikayla lying and/ or not disclosing her sponsorships. I mean how hard is it? She seems like an awful person and will never watch her. The only reason she called the small biz owner was to stop him from saying something so SHE would not look bad.

I’m not at all a fan of Mikayla…… but… I do think Matt was trying to use her name and it backfired big time. I’m glad he’s exposing her sleazy behavior, but I don’t think he’s in the right either. He even said that if he could get her to talk about his products it would help increase his exposure. He wanted her to review his products, but wasn’t willing to pay her fees. Also him blaming her for a business decision he made isn’t right. I also feel like he was weaponizing the fact that he’s a small business. Just because you are a small business doesn’t mean you are entitled to her time for free. Was she wrong for leading him on? TOTALLY 100% that’s not cool, and maybe this will teach her a lesson on just giving her number out to people. Again I’m not a fan at all! I think she’s a scammer for sure, but Matt’s not in the right (in my completely unasked for opinion).

I Agree in the sense that she isn't your friend, she moves for money, she had no legal responsibility to provide a review, you have to have common sense to know that you should have had a contract. She had no obligation to review, there's no contract. We saw this with Marlena and Jaclyn, you can't spend money on someone's word. Mikayla does need to learn professional honesty though. She can be honest and ask for a sponsered post or say no.

She was probably trying to be nice when she told him she would do a review on it and never intended on doing a video. Honestly I feel like this guy was being very pushy about it. You can’t send your product to a huge influencer and expect them to pop out a video for it for FREE. Especially knowing her deceptive past. He irresponsibly and naively took out a loan because he trusted someone who is known to lie… she didn’t owe him anything except to be honest. We also don’t know the full story. She could have sent him a message telling him that she didn’t like his product and he hasn’t made that part public. Either way, it’s his own fault and no one should take her words seriously.

I'm not a fan of Makayla's but If she's reviewing the competition 4 days after his request it's very likely she was already contracted and signed to do the competitions review. I know she never discloses her endorsements but I'd say it's more than likely she's locked into contracts and can't just review everything she wants to?
