He says the phrase "aggravated sexual assault" at every available opportunity even when it seems like he's kind of shoehorning it in unnecessarily a bit. He wants those three words to ring in the jury's ears when they're deliberating. This guy is mad as hell at his former client, and with good reason.

It's like a defendant that goes Pro Se and thinks they can beat the case because the Miranda Statement wasn't read to them. They are smarter then the cops, prosecutor, judge, etc.,in their own minds, and think their ideas are right. The prosecutor had no objections because the defendant is doing a fine job convicting himself! This video should be shown to law students as a great example of why pro se is terrible for defendants ignorant of criminal law.

This was the ONLY way Mr. Wilkerson would be forced to tell the court that his client admitted his guilt on some very serious charges. This is one reason why I couldn't be a lawyer. It would eat me up inside having to defend a person who literally told me he was guilty of the (very serious) charges he is accused of committing. as I heard it, he asked "before this revocation have I ever been convicted of a crime" and the lawyer finally answerd "not to my knowledge" I may have heard this wrong, but how could he have had a revocation of probation without being convicted of a crime that caused him to be on probation?.
@OscarSommerbo
@OscarSommerbo 2 ай бұрын
It could have been a bond revocation hearing. That happens before the trial. So it is possible, but you missed the delicious answer, "No to my knowledge" means "I don't know, but I am betting my left lung that you have been.". Lawyers are tricky like that.

For those curious, Article 39.14 provides that represented defendants are entitled to review discovery documents but are not entitled to copies of them. It also prohibits those who receive discovery documents (including lawyers) from giving copies to anyone else.

For the one with the lady who hadn’t paid her $50 mo. child support but 8 times in 18 years & lost her job working for the state of Texas = it’s really really hard to lose a state job. “For Cause” takes years & years to build a case. So it seems she not only gets the award for “Mother of the Year” but also for “Employee of the Year”.
