When the Monash contract was renewed in 2020, Solo deployed new Iveco Euro6 trucks to Garbage and Recycling. Green-Waste, on the other hand, got all the younger Euro5 Accos that were added on to the previous contract later on in the term. All of the face lift Accos got a new spray job in to the iconic Solo green colour and all got given the Green-Waste signage. There were seven of these Euro5 Accos done up but now only four remain as three of them were sent up to the Mornington contract.
In the video we look at #2824, which is a 2018 model originally a Garbage truck which was then moved on to Green-Waste, but nowadays it's the Commercial truck. In the last two clips we have #2535, which is a 2015 model and is one of the three trucks that now work in Mornington. I filmed these clips at the beginning of the new contract just so I could capture these trucks with their fresh paint jobs.
