I have very foggy memories of being abused as well by at least one family member it was my great grandfather on my mother's side. He was a prominent member of the mormon temple. But my parents also sent me there sometimes for weeks or even a month at a time. After I was grown my mom told me that he had m*lest*d my grandmother (her mother) when she was a child I also have a lot of very fuzzy memories of being taken from their house by elders of the church then waking up back at my great grandparents as if nothing had happened. It's like repressed memories there but not I can't quite grasp them but I know something bad happened to me. Sorry maybe for the overshare here but I'm really here found my way to this video because it eats at me and I've been looking for answers about my childhood my mom won't talk about it I've tried she just shuts down.
