this might be the best body position instructional video on youtube, thanks!

Great, to the point, video. In particular, thanks for speaking to the the sequence...I just got into track days a year ago, and I found it difficult to find someone to speak to sequence, particularly WHEN TO DOWNSHIFT. After lots of reading, asking around, watching videos, and trying it all out on the track, etc., I finally determined it...and this video confirms I seem to be doing it right. Now its just practice, practice!

Hey Stuman. I love your videos and enjoyed taking your supermoto class last year. I would love to see a video regarding downshifting techniques: pros/cons of each technique and how the difference applies between supersport and supermoto. When riding supermoto I don't go through each gear but just bang down into 2nd (or whatever gear I need to) while braking and let the rear slide out a bit using the clutch before turning in. I know that sliding a supersport doesn't really make sense due to the type of turns/speed/weight involved, and it would be great to see a video describing proper technique for slipping, rev-matching, and clutchless while braking with the pros and cons related to each method on the track along with your personal opinion. Thanks for providing such good coaching/content here on youtube

Stu, any tips for getting the down shifting smooth while hanging off the left side particularly? I seem to have issues doing so, not sure if it’s because I have size 13 feet and they are too big/in the way, or I just need to keep working on it? Otherwise I find myself doing all the down shifting prior to moving over, so out of order and I believe it’s affecting my corner entries?
