I love how unsettling this whole movie feels. Like, your survival instincts are screaming at you the whole time, but you don't know why. They clearly see you (chris) as a person that's different, but instead of ignore you or patronize you like normal old white folks, they gave you excessive attention, even a little admiration specifically towards your body. That combination makes it creepy. Also, a mansion far away from any city, with plentiful old white folks and only have black servant in MODERN DAYS, that's creepy on its own. And this is coming from an Asian who does not have a fit body, but it still creeps me the f out when I first saw this movie.

For me, the thing that makes this movie so good was how your perspective changes once you rewatch it. Every shot in this scene (idk abt most of the movie), when he’s not someone is always eyeing him down like a how a hunter does a deer who doesn’t know they’re there. They also look at him like he’s literally a suit in a store and mentally comparing him to other people they captured

Notice that the first couple they talk to the husband has tubes to help him breathe... and the wife says "Not bad, eh Nielsen?" while touching Chris' body. He was probably one of the highest bidders for Chris considering how sick he looks. Another reason why they didn't want him to smoke! And then Rose's face is like telling her to be cool and not give it away...lol this movie is phenomenal!
