I did an Anti-Aging Routine for a year inspired by Andrew Huberman & Peter Attia. I use the term Anti-aging just for familiarity, but really it's all about health span. A routine that allows me to feel my best and perform my best for as long as possible. I had a few questions about the specifics of my routine so here is how I schedule my workout and how my morning routine looks on days I weight lift and run. Enjoy episode #2 of Her Way to Harmony

Also nothing magical about waking up at 5am. A wake up time is all about what allows you to get enough sleep, be the happiest version of you, and whatever productive means to you. If 5am doesn’t work for you that’s fine 🫶I just realized my 10pm - 12am was wasted doom scrolling so going to bed earlier = less social media ☺️ (and this kinda makes me wanna vomit that I’ve become this person HAHAHA)

Love the point made about buying products, shampoo not being that deep or life changing!!! I recently did a declutter in my bathroom and threw so much product away (MONEY!! So much money just wasted). Definitely with you on trying to resist the urge to buy-buy-buy and instead focus on saving up on things that would be more impactful!!!

❤love this! The last advice reminds me of what a ballet teacher of mine once told me: that 90+% of the time you won’t be feeling 100%; something will be sore, you’ll be tired etc, and you have to learn how to dance through it and be beautiful nonetheless. Of course, this shouldn’t mean dancing/training through bad pain & injuries (though I’m guilty of this & learned the hard way how detrimental this is🥴) but to show up, listen to our body, do our best and enjoy what we can. Honestly, even when I “optimize”, every day feels a bit different. I try to turn my brain off and not judge my warmup, just start and see where it goes (when I can)😊

So true about your bonus comment! I have had a great routine for weeks and then I had to go overseas suddenly due to family emergency for a few days and had poor food, broken sleep and very little movement for 5 days. I know I can recover from this trip relatively well due to the weeks of good routine I had prior. My cup is a little low and it’s ok. I know exactly how to fill it back up. Thank you❤

For people who don’t live close to a gym my routine is to visit just once a week to use the weights machines and I go really hard full body. Do the big five compound movements. That will give you enough stimulus to grow strong muscles. It’s really all you need. I get that visiting the gym to spread it out and also have a space to stretch and do the yoga and use a treadmill is nice but it takes me an hour just travelling. Also most gyms are full and you have to wait for machines. It takes time. On a good week I go twice but I don’t lift. I use the sauna and the treadmill. Running is a godsend as you can just go out the door. For that I do pretty much what Kellie does. I also stretch in the gym and in the bedroom after each run. Lifting weights is pretty good for mobility so don’t stress out trying to do a lot of that and work on the bits that get stiff. For me it’s hamstrings so when pushed for time I only stretch legs.

I watched Modern Wisdom with Alex Hermozi last night and the second you talked about "I can beat that" in the bonus clip I knew exactly where it was from! Great podcast with so much insight from years of experience on being the best version of yourself. I found myself resonating with Alex's message about being smart means utilizing information in your daily life instead of constantly consuming new information only to not act on it. It goes perfectly with your message in the bonus clip that action is the way forward and you have to mess up as you go towards a greater average of return over time. Thanks for being so vulnerable as you show your authentic journey with us all!

I used to be team "it's just shampoo" having tried about every product in the drugstore. Then I decided to try a line that was recommended by Tati Westbrook (she has the most beautiful hair). It's a little more expensive but it did change my life :) I have the most voluminous and shiny hair now and healthy scalp and never again had a pimple on my back from hair masks. The line is the hydrating line by innersense for anyone interested :)

I’m still missing some of the pieces in the 5 S’es but over the last 9 months I set a workout schedule that I’ve had great success and consistency with. Even though there’s no wild transformation, I definitely feel the difference - my core strength & posture have significantly improved, along with overall better moods and emotional stability.
