I feel like this would be such a cute concept for a magical girl show. One where the mascot is just a regular cat that can talk and has superpowers, but at its core it is just a very normal cat. That would lead to some fun shenanigans, I'm sure 😁

For the sadboy hours, I can relate. I'm still having my first pet (a guinea pig) who I'm very attached too, but sometimes, out of nothing, I just start thinking about his and my sister's guinea pig's deaths (they're 2 years away from the end of their expected lifespan). It's terrible.

I feel Emily so much, love her sincerity, as always, and I've never even had a pet in my lifetime, or at least was much too young to remember them. Sad hours, indeed, are very real and I've cried about cute animals not involving me at different times of the day, thinking the intrusive, disturbing thoughts, in my case of sometimes unrelated kinds, like you, and just the organisms and their own existence breaks my shell once in a while.

I have a also a cat she is already 21 years old and I understand you very well, she doesn't eat enough and can't see. It's everyday a horror, thinking that in every second she can be already dead. Every time when I see her sleeping I wake her up bc of that, and I am always happy when she looks at me with her ocean blue eyes (althrough she can't see anything) like 'why did u wake me up???'. I'm glad that she is still alive

I’ve lost many pets, the first one I remember not being as Heart broken as my parents. I was maybe 6, and our old old Cat Cream was getting to that point. I remember watching my mom be by her side petting her gently as she whispered “we’ll be ok, you can rest now” and Cream meowed for the last time before passing away. I’ve lost pets in more unfair ways though. The day my dachund Copper was taken by a coyote and never seen again is a memorie that’s sucks to remember. My and my parents rode our bikes around the neighborhood for hours with no sign of him. Since then, my experience with losing pets has been easier, as they have all been old and ready to leave. Still, my saddest pet loss was my Big Boy Punch, who was this fat teddy bear of a guard dog that would sleep with me at night to prevent my awful nightmares. His death was urgent, we had to rush him to the vet, and he passed away just before he would have been put down. His ashes remain in my living room, I miss him the most.

Great video, really related to most parts of it. It reminds me of a lot of things actually. (Warning: too long private story without story telling skills ahead) My 15y/o me was also constantly sad thinking about my dog and cat`s mortality, but by the time my dog died (cat is 20years old and doing well, holy frick) I had already been put on a rather hefty prescription as an epileptic which did solve my health problems, but created new ones in the form of (amon others) chronic depression alongside not being able to feel any emotions below a certain threshold (unless I stop taking my medicine or I drink, because that hinders the effects of the medicine too). So when my dog, who probably was my best friend back then and was like a third, but cooler brother to me died... I noticed I didn`t feel anything. I couldn´t think about anything but the fond memories I shared with him and the loss I should now suffer for many days, but nothing, zero, void, whatever, life goes on... I continued to think about how horrible it is not to feel bad about the whole situation and my previosly mentioned thought, but I felt as bad about it as I would feel good about eating shattered glass. 5 years later I now know that my feelings didn´t just get lost in my medication or something. If anything I got way more emotional due to not building up a resistance to negative emotions, because if I forget to take my medication or I drink too much, all the thoughts and every important memory I have comes rushing though my head at once and I get overwhelmed with feelings, negative and positive alike... And that's why I cried about my favourite dog's passing about 2 years after he died... which was quite the awkward Christmas, because nobody was talking about anything sad, I just had a really "crazy train" of thought.
