Tbh I expected you to talk about complications in this video but I DID NOT expect you to talk about being denied entry to a restaurant or bar over a piercing. It breaks my heart that people do this kind of thing or that it even happened to you, because we all know you have such a kind and big heart. ❤ can’t wait to eventually swing by Buddha in Seattle (just missed your last guest spot😢) and get pierced by one of the best!

Omg yes! I had eight facial piercings very visible tattoos, nada. Got the cheeks done and people STARE. I’ve had small children look away quickly, or sneak peaks behind a booth while we’re eating at the diner (which I love honestly). I keep mentioning this because I wasn’t prepared for, “oh people see me as modified now.” It’s wild.

WHO KNEW THE LINE WAS CHEEKS?!? A face tattoo sure. Horns or implants absolutely. Even stretched septums and labrets. But cheeks? It’s truly wild the looks I get with them. The kids are the sweetest tho 🥹💖

I wouldn’t say dangerous (if done correctly) but I would say high risk. Definitely dangerous when done incorrectly however

THANK YOU. Finally someone who actually talks about the realities of cheek piercings, not just "its hard to heal". I thought the hard bumps were something I was alone in dealing with. I have so many piercings, but I have never experienced the bumps you get on cheeks anywhere else. Saline doesn't fix these bumps, and when I put a little pressure on them, whiteish fluid drains out. If I don't do this, they feel "full". THANK YOU for mentioning the skin discolouration, again no one talks about this! I didn't realise my fluid pockets could become abscesses. My cheeks are currently a 14g, and I kept wondering if a stretch to 12g would help. This has convinced me to buy 12g barbells for more stability. How did you stretch them? A taper, or did you just put the 12g in? I find for me, flat discs inside my mouth works best, but can't find labrets at 12mm threaded in the UK. As such, I was pierced with and my 3 sets of various lengths are threadless... which I know is a choking risk. Do you know of any brands which could do 12mm 12g flat disk threaded labrets, even in the US I could try and import? Or should I beg as many reputable piercers I know on instagram and try and convince them to sell and ship to me? Sorry for this huge comment, I'm just so glad to finally find someone with the same experience.

Anatometal makes these and I have online stores linked in my bio that sell them and ship them. But I really would suggest having an experienced piercer assist you with the stretch! I always heard the same thing “hard to heal”. I wish a detailed breakdown of the risks was more common!

i can’t find in the video where they talk about the hard bumps. my dahlias have a bump on each one and they’re hard, kinda dried and look like they want to drain fluid. my piercer advised me that i over cleaned them and suggested i leave them alone. she also said the saline and a tip method was doing more harm than good. do you have a time stamp or personal advice you can lend me please ?:(

Very sorry you had to deal with the societal complications of this piercing. I also had to deal with the grief and struggle that is... the more you get modified, the more people give you stares and bad comments. Especially for people with social anxiety or people pleasing, like how I used to be... For sure it was a shock having people dislike me for my appearance. So, I'm sorry you had to deal with that, and I'm glad you were able to ignore it and still stick to being yourself!

Really interesting to hear about the social repercussions from these piercings, was not expecting that! The piercing I always hear complained about is the septum, but maybe that's because the cheek ones are not as common!
@Lynn_Loheide

Honestly nothing could have prepared me for the social repercussions of these piercings. Obviously I knew being more visibly modified would have those repercussions but to me the line was like- face tattoos and stretched facial piercings or facial heavy mods. I never once really considered cheek piercings would be that line or that line SO strongly. I would still never trade them for the world, and these days they are a good litmus test for people i interact with!

I truly don't understand the discrimination due to cheek piercings. I also am slightly modified, I have large stretched ears and 6 visual facial piercings. To think this would draw the line for some?? Tbh, I was worried when I got my bridge done that people would hate that. But no... I haven't had any comments other than the obligatory "you must love torturing yourself hurhur" attitude. I try to warn everyone I see talking about getting these about the healing process. Tbh, and I'm not even sure if this is legal to ask, if I was a piercer I'd want to make sure my client has access to health insurance and has several other piercings before even considering doing these.

Another comment similar to your experience. When I was an apprentice I did my dahlias myself. Bad idea. I pierced them with shorter barbells (with low quality jewelry) and paid the price the next day. I had to take the barbells out and put in longer ones. After they healed I switched them to implant grade titanium labrets (I know.. I should have done this in the beginning but I paid the price for it) They healed great, I had no problems, it’s been 3 years and I still have them in.

Gosh this made me think and realize, last year and early this year when I worked at a body jewelry store, it was definitely my cheeks that caused the most issues!! I never even thought about it till now. A lot of strange looks, nasty comments, parents telling their kids that they're never allowed to ruin their faces like I did. I was lucky enough though that even if that was the majority, I still had a lot of customers who were so nice and curious about them, my favorites was a few older women who would say the nicest things about how interesting it was, and that they'd never seen the piercings I had in public before and that it was so cool that people could express themselves more freely than they could when they were younger. Kinda silly, considering I also had a rhino at the time that I made a nose chain for to give the illusion of an eye.. cheeks seem so tame compared to that.

After you have piercings for a while, no matter if they’re ear piercing facial piercings. Once you’ve had them for many years, you will know when your piercing is infected your big shit infection, boom and you’ll just know Nippet in the bud right away. Many of my piercings are quite old. Many of them are some of them are newer. Some of them are newer so they’re like year to three, but some of them are also very old like up my first load. Sometimes they do still flare. You’ll be surprised sometimes if I overdo it with like fun jewelry, like if I overdo it like, and just wear crappy, shitty metal materials in my ears too much. and I just overdo it like if I overly wear too many different earrings in my first hole, second holes, I Nippet in the bud, put my gold hoops back and get it back under control. The infection goes away within a couple of days, but my ears have always been sensitive my whole life so every piercing is like that even my helix if I had a little bit Too much where I do know I have this one. He likes to now like this but I just wanna helix and I’ve had it since I was 13 years old and studs are no good for me and so it got pierced with a star and blah blah so bunch of issues happen with it kept constantly getting infected and had problems and issues an issue an issue an issue and I had to take stuff out and put a whooping on it’s healed is all healed. It’s all good I still have that I still have it from when I was 13 but now I have a because it’s so sensitive it is so like gets pissy. I kinda have to Nippet in the bud when it gets an irritation so either from a dog hair dirt if I didn’t clean it most the time I do. Generally at least once a week give it a clean but if I buy actually like hit it take I have to take the jewellery out. It’s 11 years old so the whole won’t close so I just take the jewellery out let it calm down. Let it do its thing sometimes it’s my ears are overly too cold sores during the winter if my ears are just way too fucking cold like way way way way too fucking cold I know to just put on those earmuffs put on hand. Do you keep my head warm, especially because it is so so so so sensitive to cold and it becomes very red if I go out in the cold and it does that because that piercing is so sensitive. Right now I have another one like that because I wore a stud in it. He got pierced with a stud and so it fucked it up in my my ears don’t like studs so they don’t feel very good. In fact, I don’t care at all and so what happened was when you talk about the abscess thing that’s what my ear creates but when I wear studs I get like this oil abscess pocket thing and I get it every time I wear studs no matter if it’s in my helix conch lobes anywhere so I really really can’t wear studs even when it’s like gold silver definitely not anything that’s nickel based surgical steel anything like all the metals in the world you can think of that you put in your ears I can’t wear I can’t even wear plastic. So my ears are just so so sensitive and typically I know when it’s got a flare when it’s got a problem and that’s where I again I troubleshoot that piercing and I just like to do do and I baby and my snuggles the same way it’s still healing a little bit but it’s about I would say 85% healed now maybe more I’m not quite sure now cause it’s it. It is old is it is older it’s a year and four months old now, but as I’ve lived with the snug piercing now for a year, I typically know when that fucker is in a flare when it’s in a flare, I know it and I know exactly win and I know OK my snug is flared. I got a problem there is something wrong can I just troubleshoot it get it taken care of get the infection down and that’s what I do thankfully you know I keep it clean every day I clean it every day soap and water, death soap and water because of my sensitive skin and then and that helps quite a lot but when it gets in a flare when it gets infected yeah I use my alcohol my peroxide because my ears are so so so so so so so so sensitive and very very prone to infections so using like even premade, premade saline and stuff like that really really pisses off my ears and it doesn’t help anything. It just makes the infection that worse my body has a problem with clearing infections by itself it always has so I always have to use something like peroxide or alcohol to pull it out, because my body won’t do it naturally on its own, so it is what it is and then once it’s cleared the infection clears within a couple of days and then once it clears and it calms down, I just go back to using dove soap and washing it that way, but that’s life with piercings, you know this is life with piercings piercings are this is life with piercings piercings are fun and cute and Lottie da, but this is life with piercings you always will have flareups no matter of a piercing. You have a flare here there are no matter what the piercing is it’ll be fine you’re great doing well and then boom something happens. You get something in it because a little bit of an infection whatever you did and then you gotta take care of the baby again and get it back to normal. It’s just normal with piercings. It’s just life with piercings and if anyone gets annoyed with that then when I say is, don’t get piercings whether it’s ears facial nose piercings in general, you can’t live with a scar you can’t deal with the fact that the piercing has its flareups and isn’t always perfect. You know I still I’ve had my one from when I was 13 years old. I’ve had it for 11 years and there is times where that piercing flares up and I’ve had it since I was 13 years old. It is 11 years old and trust me I know because this one lady I had got my second helix done and it was a fresher piercing, but that was not the one that swelled the lady she was brushing my hair aggressively this one day I don’t know. I guess she was in a rush or what the fuck else I don’t know, but she brushed my hair so aggressively that she actually caught not the bottom one but the top piercing twice in her comb and she didn’t rip it but or anything she just popped she kept opening the hoop she opened it twice and oh my God my helix from when I was 13 years old was so pissy and mad. I had to take my gold hoop out for a week to get it back down to normal thankfully did it’s fine now it’s perfectly fine I have it in my ear. I even changed jewellery recently to a surgical steel are like really cute little huggy, but that’s the life with piercings. They are healed, but they are never perfect. You will have infection you will have irritation you will have a flareup once a while you will end up having to baby that piercing. You may not have to baby it for three for five years and then boom all the sudden I have to babysit because you hit it or because something happened and now it’s pissy that’s life with piercings they’re never gonna be perfect you that’s that’s what you sign up for when you get them done that’s literally what you sign up for. When you get them done, they will never be these perfectly healed piercings, where you never have to take care of again you may not have to take care of it as frequent but you will come in a situation where something pissed her off. Something flared it up and then you have to take care of it again That’s just reality that’s just life with piercings and if you can’t handle that then don’t get piercings

When you mess up and you do you know turn it up here sit on the right angle or in my case I know this is typically correct to do but for me for my ears and how my body is, it sees studs as a threat in a risk to my health so my ears essentially try to eat the bar tries to pull it through tries to migrate it move it somewhere else and so my ears of always tried to do that with studs that’s why a lot of money now piercings are pierced with hoops, but my piercer that I had before the new piercer that I have. Luckily, I was able to save my conch piercings, but she pierced them with studs, and I had a stud in them for a year, and they would my conch piercings would look like they’re healing, and then they would Player and get mad and then all the sudden not have to baby them again and then they will be fine in the day and then finally my conch piercings took a big flare and that’s when I was like OK we’re done we’re putting hoops in these so I just recently put hoops in my conch piercings now they’re better now they’re happy now they’re healthy now they’re doing well and it’s only been a literally a week literally a week it’s going into week two with poops in my conch now and they are significantly better no more problems no more issues but because my piercer in this case, because my skin deems studs as a threat The piercer had before my new piercer that I have she put studs in my conch piercings and yes, they were perfectly straight and everything and I didn’t sleep on them and all sorts of stuff to try to prevent it from not tilting or anything it wasn’t gonna matter anyways because she put studs in my contacts so she doomed them right from the beginning from state so the conch piercings now because they’re so far along. I’ve had the holes for so long are not perfectly straight anymore but I don’t care. I love them anyways but now I have to leave these annoying big surgical steel hoops in my ear for a year and get them healed but regardless, I still love my conch piercing. I love them very much but yeah, I know what it’s like to fight and fight and fight and try to get a Pearson’s to you. I knew something was wrong with my college piercings, because my ears unless the piercing requires a year-long healer longer than a year my ears don’t normally take that long to heal piercings and they don’t normally they’ll get pissy in Fleurie for about a good 234 months or so but day eventually calm down and they stop getting flared. Or at least the space out and Andy, the flavourings come and go and you know it’s like I have a flare like a one month and then like 234 months later I’ll have another one, but that’s the way my snug was starting to be but my conch piercings were not, and that’s when I knew OK somethings wrong. The studs are an issue. We gotta get them out of here so I went to the piercer my professional piercer professional went to wear a tattoo shop. I got them done professionally to buy a piercer at a tattoo shop and she took the stud out in the moment she did there was absolutely gushing out of fluid. One of the studs ended up. Fusing shut and I had to get my Dad to cut it off with pliers no joke and this just happened this year 2024 no joke and so after all of that even though I didn’t sleep on my conch piercings work so hard to not sleep on them and everything they were still savable luckily but they’re just the slightest bit tilted not perfect but regardless, I still love them I regret letting my piercer put studs in my ears. I should’ve piped up a bit more and said hey, don’t put those in there. That’s a bad idea I do regret letting her put studs in my ears knowing that. I have a problem with studs, knowing that I have an issue healing with studs, knowing that my ears do not heal with studs. Regardless of the metal doesn’t matter if it’s A straight barbell doesn’t matter. If it’s a flat back stud, my ears do not heal with studs and it doesn’t matter for surgical, steel, titanium, highest quality of quality of quality of jewellery ever out there doesn’t matter my ears don’t like studs. It’s the only thing I do regret, I don’t regret my college for your things. The only thing I do regret I also don’t regret the placement to me I have I’m a punk rock chick, and Dolores O’Riordan is my idol and so her piercings are not exactly perfect she has piercings all the way up here and none of them are perfect because she Pearson most of them herself. I got mine all professionally done however, however. A straight barbell doesn’t matter. If it’s a flat back stud, my ears do not heal with studs and it doesn’t matter for surgical, steel, titanium, highest quality of quality of quality of jewellery ever out there doesn’t matter my ears don’t like studs. It’s the only thing I do regret, I don’t regret my courage for your things. The only thing I do regret I also don’t regret the placement to me I have I’m a punk rock chick, and Dolores O’Riordan is my idol and so her piercings are not exactly perfect she has piercings all the way up her ears, and none of them are perfect because she pierced most of them herself. I got mine all professionally done, however. Mishaps and problems and issues happened. Messed them up a little bit but that’s OK because I look like a punk rock chicken that’s what I was going for with my piercings in and park rock chicks don’t have straight piercings. My piercer Brianne, the piercer who messed up and put studs in my college when she should’ve done so, but anyway, my piercer Brianne just moved to Florida not that long ago. I miss her though she was my favourite regardless of the mess up. She did she was my favourite I really liked her. She was a piercer I was comfortable with, and I really liked her. She was like a friend to me, but nonetheless, my new piercing is going to finish off my ears for me. Cause my ear Curation is not done

I have a question, and I’m putting it here just because I think it might be the place you’re most likely to notice it lol. I’m looking to start a stack, and I’m looking for more of a piece of jewellery I’ve been wearing in my septum pretty much since I pierced it at 15, around 17 years ago. It’s what I would call a smooth segment ring; it’s a ring, and part of that ring pops all the way out, and then you can kind of “click” it back in again, though it’s kind of fiddly. I cannot find another one on like Etsy, eBay, amazon, or my usual body jewellery sites here in the U.K…. I’m just getting loads of clickers. Are they ever called something else? Sorry for the unrelated to the video question, I just know that you know what you’re talking about, and I cannot work this out! Lol. Sorry again, thanks for your help, and thank you for sharing your cheek piercing journey! :)

The world needs to change in that because a lot of times people have piercings for one reason or another sometimes the fashion thing. Sometimes it’s like in my case where my piercings are my confidence because I was always my tattoos, but a lot of time is my piercings, because my eyes are in a bit, I hate my eyesight. I have low vision and stigmatism, so my eyes constantly shaking, blah blah blah so as a kid growing up, I got bully constantly made fun of teachers would look at me funny because my One I would look after the side wall. The other one was focussed in class. Teachers would tell me pay attention. You should be paying attention in class and it’s like yes, I’m paying attention, but my other eye it looks like I’m not, but I really am because I just don’t have control of it because of my stigmatism and so because I had I got tired of explaining that with my eyes all the time and it just made me so insecure about myself that’s why I have all my piercings on my ears it’s one of the biggest reasons why I have so many piercings that I do because my ears ended up becoming my confidence space and then soon after to also my tattoos now I do get judged for my piercings I get judged for my tattoos as well, but. I feel like without my piercings I don’t feel like myself I don’t feel like myself. I feel if I had to take my piercings out and not have them I I wouldn’t feel confident myself I think I would be feeling beautiful either so you know my piercings are really a part of me and they really make me feel confident and they’re really really important to me and so do you know yes, I’ve had asked my grandma has asked me not to continue piercing myself going and getting piercings at a professional piercer, and my grandma has asked me to not do that, and my grandma‘s asked me not to tattoo myself either, but I have multiple tattoos and I love my tattoos and my tattoos are also a part of my confidence. My tattoos are part of me my piercings are a part of me and they’re part of my confidence and so I really hate when people have a problem with peoples piercings or peoples tattoos because you know you never know what someone went through as a kid you know they could’ve really got bullied a lot and I did. I got bullied so much that I’ve gotten told to kill myself in high school and grade school and so my piercings my tattoos they are my confidence they are my expression of myself and they are a part of me and so it really sucks when people judge people because of Pearson’s or because of tattoos or both it really does suck because you never know someone truly know someone until you get to know them and so I think that judging. Someone based upon the tattoos or piercings, that you see is the wrong thing to do until you get to know that person because they could be a really nice lovely, kindest person with a good heart, but they just have tattoos and have piercings because that is there a way of expressing themselves and that is their confidence and it doesn’t mean we are bad people just because we have tattoos or piercings and it doesn’t mean we are bad it’s just it’s a part of us it’s our confidence

how did you manage to get a piercing for every event and mini occasion? are you just an incredibly fast healer or did you get them regardless of whether old ones were healed? i could never even dream of getting and healing so many so quickly

I assume she means every birthday of hers and every holiday that maybe you get gifts for, so like Xmas and Vday? And I guess depending on where she got them maybe some were more healed than others. I was wondering the same

@@samirascarlett lynn said every occasion they would ask for a piercing instead of a gift, so all the holidays like you mentioned and good report cards, etc. they added a picture of them from high school in another video and they had piercings pretty much everywhere, and lynn said they had more piercings than they have now. i guess they were just getting them regardless of them healing?

Even my first hole that I’ve had them practically my whole life because I’ve had him since I was 44 years old so it’s practically my whole entire life. I’ve had my first hole and even they get flared and pissy specially, if I sit there and drink Christmas and during Halloween I do generally tend to take out my hoops and I wear a little bit too much fun jewellery art, so I do end up paying a bit of a price, of course cause I have allergies to nickel I’ve always had that, and so of course the cheap jewelries and stuff you fuck around with that stuff that’s gonna piss your piercings off. Of course you don’t so even though I’ve had my first hole since I was four sometimes if I overly mess with my piercing hole and I just put a little bit too much fun jewellery in it because it’s Halloween or Christmas or whatever the case I am paying the price because it ends up being you know overly irritated or it gets a small little infection because I overdo it with the fun jewellery in my first hole and so generally I end up having to pay the price and then I have to babysit again and I had to put my gold hoops back in and then I go back to normal and then just normal. And that’s just life with piercings honestly piercings are like that piercings are fun, but the reality is of piercings is they will always be Something that you may not have to baby all the time and once they’re fully healed, you may not have to tend to them every day but you do generally end up having to tend to them for a general cleaning. Elise wants to two times a week and then of course, if they’re infected or having an irritation, troubleshoot it and deal with the piercing until it’s no longer showing those signs and it’s back to normal again, but even my inner ear piercing for my headaches, which it does help my headaches, which is my death piercing It is three years old and I have to troubleshoot that one all the time there’s times where we fine and then the next thing you know it’s like boom I’m infected. Sometimes I don’t know why most the time I do and most the time it’s like I got a dog hair in it for you I got a piece of crusty dirty right now or something or you know something happened or sometimes what happens to is it’ll get infected or your little little bit irritated because it’s right across from my snug and so sometimes I look at my snug to determine why my death infected because sometimes it’s not necessarily that my death is infected. It’s my snug and so it’s irritated by my snug and so then I have to troubleshoot both of them and get the infection down and under control with my snug and then typically it’ll go away and get iCan get my other piercing across from it my death under control as well and the infection will go away but I’ve had sensitive ears my whole life. I’ve had to deal piercings like that my whole life so it’s just normal that’s life with piercings and if you’re not willing to put up with it, I say to those who are not don’t get piercings because that’s like what do you matter what you get pierced facial Piercing ear piercing that is life with piercings. This is life. This is reality you’ll always have to deal with that. You one of those piercings that’s what you get you get piercings and you know with that comes different little things it’ll irritate off your piercings and so you should really try not to do that just like you said call getting us sick or getting colds that too like I have my nostril pierced. Every time I get a cold every time I get sick my nostril gets pissy and bitchy and not happy.

I just got mine done but I could only keep one in because when he pierced the other one and put the piercing, my cheek quickly swelled up with blood. He had to take it out fast. He took it out and blood was squirting from face and it didn't stop bleeding for like 5 to 10 minutes. I was scared 😂 I'm not going to lie. I have several piercings and that was the first for me. My right cheek is swollen and bruised. The swelling has gone down. I'm not sure what happened. He said he didn't hit anything but idk

or maybe now that i watch the vid it is just drainage problems from them being pierced too thin and with bad jewellery, Ive just ordered titanium jewellery in 12 and 10g. will it be safe to stretch the piercing while im dealing with this drainage pocket? i really dont want it to get to the point of abcessing but if it doesnt calm down by the end of the week that may be the way it is heading

If someone does have the leakage issue you said that doesnt go away....makes sense. But at that point you take them out and they heal up and the leakage stops, right?
@Lynn_Loheide

Not always. Sometimes you need to have a plastic surgeon close the channels to stop the leaking

Like even my first holes, OK had them since I was four years old I put a new pair of hoops in them this past year. OK in there many years old are very very old. My first holes are, but they like my others because I have overly sensitive ears as well but I did make sure the metal it wasn’t anything I was allergic to so they’re 10 karat gold so they have enough gold in them that my ear doesn’t get irritated from it. Why even send even then my ear cause I’m had them since I was four even then when I go to put new hoops and then they’re like irritated for the week red or irritate. And they’re just kind of not happy and they’re grumpy for about a week and then they settle down and they get used to the hoops being there now I had to get my new the new hoops because the ones I had I’ve had them I had them in for so many years that the hoop no longer closed anymore as it was so like just I couldn’t even get them closed anymore so I had to get new hoops to replace the hopes that no longer close anymore so that’s why I did it, but even then, when you even the older the piercing, it doesn’t matter how old the piercing, and it will still flare

i have had my cheeks pierced for almost 11 years at 14g. I've been considering stretching them to 12g and after watching your video I'm actually going to do it. Initially they were a nightmare for the first year. The guy that did them didn't have the right length bar so he took extra long ones and bent them into like a right angle and I had to wear them for a month. They weren't titanium either even though i specifically told him multiple times that I needed titanium. It was just over a year when i realized they were steel because I ordered titanium bars online to downsize. I have only had a few hiccups since then, but oh my stars did I deal with so much that first year and there was like no info really on all of the things that could happen. My actual question is, I plan on getting my dahlia's done soon. i was going to request 14g, but now I'm wondering if I should ask for 12g? Thanks so much.

I want you to know Lynn Dad you’re a great piercer regardless of your cheek piercings and I’m 24 and I have multiple piercings myself and your cheek piercings. Do not mean that you are a bad person or that you or anything like that it doesn’t define you like that just because you have cheek piercings doesn’t mean you’re not a good piercer. In fact, if I had a daughter who wanted to get her ears pierced, I would let you pierce my daughters ears, because to me what matters is not with the if you can pierce and do it properly And knows your stuff your piercings do not at all, and would not at all hinder me from bringing my daughter to get her ears pierced or whatever now I’m 24 I don’t have kids yet, but if I hypothetically had a daughter and she wanted to get her ears pierced. I will take her to you to get her ears pierced because as long as you’re the most Porten as long as you know, your profession that you’re good at it and good to go, the outer appearance is not what matters

Is it bad the only reason I want to come to America is to get a piercing from you 😅. UK laws have stopped female genital piercings under FMG laws. Not sure if you do them yourself but would be amazing to get anything done by you.

how have you managed with masking with piercings? Especially if you've ever worn n95s and even kn95s-- higher pressure on the nose and right where your cheeck piercings are.

Wow, that’s sad when someone can’t except someone for the way they are and they ask someone to take out whatever piercings that’s not the right person for you but that is so sad. I’m so sorry that people can’t just accept you for who you are with your cheek piece piercings like I’m sure people look at me and probably think the same thing with all my ear piercings but I don’t care I don’t care cause that’s what makes me me. I feel beautiful with my ear piercings without them I I don’t feel like myself my grandma hates my ear piercings. She told me constantly don’t get any more don’t I wish you really wouldn’t of Pier Street years why do pierced your ears you should take those out but I never do anyways because I love myself with my ear piercings. They make Mimi and beautiful same with my tattoo. My grandma hates my piercings but tall roof lame but hate hate hate hate hate my tattoos. Oh my God she hates them. My grandma has like a big huge problem with the tattoos but I feel beautiful with my tattoo just like I feel beautiful with my piercings.

Hello I’ve had my cheeks pierced now for 1 year and 9 months, it’s been a rocky journey for myself but I’ve been surviving I did all my research before I got them I knew the risks and moved forward they’ve been good but recently one of my cheeks has swollen and hardened a bit I’ve been gargling with sea salt and holding sea salt water oh the outside of the piercing it has gone down some but not much and I’m starting to get frustrated. Do you have any tips when dealing with swelling like this? Even my longest bars 1” bars weren’t long enough for the swelling 😫
