Your daughter's tutorial was the only one that helped me figure out how to style my waves!! (I also have coarse high density waves and 90% of all the other wavy tutorials is assuming that everyone has fine hair) soooo excited for this update!! thank you both :D

Thank you so much for explaining why some hair loves or hate protein Chelle. I learned my hair hates a lot of protein but loves moisturizing leave-ins & creams. I just didn't understand it. Like your daughter, my scalp is dry & my hair is medium to course. I saw what angry wet frizz was when I had used a heavy protein cream in my hair and there was no smoothing it. So I rinsed it out and applied a moisturizing leave-in and my hair was happy 😊. Oh BTW, I changed my profile pic and name. It used to be a white cat and my name was D Ebner. I don't know if you remember me, but I thought I would let you know about the change.

I enjoyed watching your daughter's video. I definitely identify with having some strands in the front that are "stupid" lol. Maybe I'll try some of her techniques. My hair isn't coarse at all and much shorter but it's very curly in the back and sides and more wavy on the front and crown. I struggle with making those wavy pieces look good.

@@CurlyChelle547 Haha, I don't mind the lack of diplomacy. I totally empathize. I have curls around my face and crown that are really annoying. Partially cause I didn't get a good cut from the "curl specialist" last time, so the strands just hang there and are hard to style. She thinks she understands my hair but she doesn't. Gave her 3 chances, trying someone new next time. That's life! 😄

So i have a question for your daughter... When she is scrunching, does she squeeze at all? Or just a gentle cupping? I really appreciate this video. I have coarse wavy hair and its tough to find content that actually relates to me. My hair is too soft and loves protein but i still found this video super helpful!
