Me: I’m just gonna get a cup but I’m not gonna join the “cup cult” like who cares. Also me later on: Binge watches videos, makes sister take the quiz and get a cup, talks and posts about it, looks into other cups. Like dang if put a cup in it came out with an app I’d download it SO FAST I love learning/sharing about menstrual cups! I would definitely make a video like this to help out younger users like myself.

The quiz suggested the Saalt Soft cup for me. I’m going to purchase one this week and boy do I hope it works. Last month i purchased my first menstrual cup and it was the diva cup. The only issue i had was how difficult it was for me to hold the fold to insert it. I have rheumatoid arthritis so keeping a grip on something so tough was soooo hard painful. I wanted to give up so bad because it was making my joints hurt more than my usual pain. I just subscribed and started binge watching the past hour🤣. This channel is friggin amazing. Thank you ladies so much for putting in the work. You’re DEFINITELY appreciated over here 🙌🏽💖

Thank you for mentioning this point! Do you mind sharing if you liked the Saalt Soft and if it was easier to fold? I have a Diva and I think it can be very hard to fold and pinch to release. While I don’t have full blown RA yet, I have been reluctant to recommend using a cup to a family member who does. I think it would be hard on her hands to deal with if I’m already having trouble with it. Thanks again for bringing this up!

I dont think 10 hrs is considered heavy? Lol the first 2 days, I need to change after 4-5 hrs

Same here. 4-6 hours is considered heavy. 10-12 hours is regular.

My problem with my cup isn't listed in the quiz - I picked 'cup is painful to insert' b/c it was the closest option but that's not my problem - I have no trouble putting it in but it feels like it's shoving me open the whole time it's inside me and even after I take it out it hurts

I just started got a diva cup size 2 using this website to help me as I can't turn it at all lub would make it not I can use lub to make sure all the side and rim are all open fully rounded open and it is seems in place don't feel it lol tired the push down fold nope always pme side not open right so lol praying I did buy heavy flow period underwear as back up also wearing a white long liner to watch for leaking or spotting so lol I'm 31 to be 32 heavier flow ... if this causes issues I be buying the ultucup meduim size 1 as it's light or heavy flow and has the shape I like like the diva cup size 1 that I'm wishing I should have got lol 😆 oh well

I tried using Sirona cup medium, insertion using lubricant was easy. But later it moved up, it was bit difficult to reach and suction was too strong. It was very hard to remove. Is there any cup which is Soft Long Transparent (not coloured)?

Firstly Sirona Cup isn't that firm as I use it too and I feel pretty comfortable in it The reason it's difficult to reach is because you probably have a high cervix and the cup is shorter but I might have a solution for that : You'll just have to push yourself and try as if you are giving birth to the cup, basically putting pressure on it and it'll automatically come down a little where you are supposed to pinch it to remove the suction ( very important) Don't ever go for the stem, instead pinch the cup and remove it 👍

Also Sirona cups are also available in white and it is as transparent as it can get

So yesterday I inserted my Lily Cup A for the first time, but as soon as I got it in I started feeling dizzy so I took it out. I am 19 and my vagina is not used to having things up there, rarely even two fingers. I dont know if it was anxiety cause I was afraid of letting the cup go and not being able to get it out (I did let it go but it didn’t go up that much) Also I read it could be vasovagal reflections or sensitivity to the suction of the cup, as well as anxiety and even maybe having my head down for too long?? Anyone has had similar experiences?

Im 15 and got the same cup but didn’t have this experience. I doubt it has to due to your anatomy being young and not having things inside you. It probably has more to due with anxiety. Remember the lily cup is longer so it’s less likely you won’t be able to grab it due to it’s length. Also, there’s nowhere for it to “go.” Hope this helped! Best of luck getting used to it or finding a good alternative.

Heyy umm....so i did a very stupid thing. I'm a 19 yr old virgin with zero experience in cups or tampons and i felt bold and wanted to try something better...so i did many research regarding cups but i forgot about the size and ordered a medium size! (It's non returnable) And when i actually searched then the appropriate size is small for me I'm not on my periods but when i measured with my fingers , my whole finger went in and all. Will it be safe to try with medium size for the first time??

The whole under 18 below 30 age thing is bs if that's what u r talking about.measure your cervix then measure ur cup length, c if ur vagina can accomodate it

Hi. Thank you for this video. I've bought a small size cup recently. After a day's struggle I managed to insert the cup. Since I'm a virgin only punch down method is working out while inserting. But, it is not opening properly. It seems like the cup is struck there with no space to open up. Does it happen because I insert it wrong? Could you please suggest me any ideas to overcome this?

Try half diamond fold..it also has a small insertion point.. i had the same prob as you did, but i after i tried half diamond it opened up on its own.. although it opening is kinda surprising (sensation wise)? Lol

I am actually afraid too since it looks like it doesn't fit or If I could even insert it. Well, I am still using pad because I can't find affordable cups. I am still a student and I don't have allowance because we are still going through online classes. T°T

dagboekdaantje yes. Literally anyone can use them. You could be 10 or 40. They can be used for your first period. I found it annoying how there was little information on menstrual cups for young teens.
