In my 98 I have left Modular motors entirely, going to run A460 Ford performance block punched out and stroked to 598 with Jon Kasse SR71 heads and with cam and valve train and intake and carb expecting 1000hp/ 950torq at the crank NA.

I'm going with an aviator wap based npi 2v and I've caught some flak for wanting a wap over teksid. I will direct them to this vid. Thank you sir.

I love the superstition surrounding this block. They are very cheap compared to a teksid

@@andrewlavender08 $240 from a 100k mile aviator. I agree. People tend to think 600-700 is pushing limits and imho they look more than capable. They are lighter than the teksid as well.

WAP from an Aviator? I assumed they would all be a Nemak. I actually have 2 2v's that are Nemak blocks as well.

Andrew Lavender obviously they’re lighter, but for a mild 4.6 engine build, is a alum wap/teksid block overkill over a cast winsor block? Looking for around 500whp. I also live in az and I know overheating can kill these blocks. Any suggestions?

Prob a dumb question. Ive been known to ask them lol. Plan on building my car up in future. My goal is 600 to wheels min. Plan on a kenne bell 2.6 mammoth on it. Boost undecided. Anyways. Plan on doing ported heads for better flow. But was wondering should stock iron block be good. ( plan on doing .020 over bore with a bump up in compression) or should i look into a wap for it. Love the car and the videos i live in same state and hope sometime to see it in person sweet build

Did you put thicker head studs in it yet? If you don't, it won't matter which gasket you use at 30 psi. They're gonna stretch enough to lift the head.

I love your combination, the car's performance speaks for its self! I have and love my turbo Coyote, but all the extra timing equipment to run 4 variable timing cam-shafts, and twice as many valves make me a bit nervous when I'm leaning on the damn thing. Was it a pretty crazy learning curve using your stand alone engine control system, and is it maf or speed density? If I ever do an actual race car, a 2V like yours would surely be considered because of your success on here.
