DayZ 1.19 update details: • All DayZ 1.19 Changes ...
The 5.45x39 rounds used by the AK 74 and AKS 74U have been buffed and so have flare cartridges and the 40mm smoke rounds used by the M79. I also compare the new weapons to DayZ 1.19 by looking at the stats of the new SSG 82 Sniper Rifle and along with the BK-12 Shotgun

Good that they brought back 5.45x39 mm where it should be. I hope they will buff the .357 a little for the Repeater though, since they released the revolver, it got nerfed too much..

Mate im with you both things,that 357 nerf was wild,repeater and revolver along with deagle were beasts. Real shame they nerfed that guns. I always wore revolver on chest holster cause it looked SO. DAMN. COOL.

I love the repeater but its so gutless and slow. I wish it got a little buff. the revolver isn't so bad because it can fire quickly

Thanks for the useful info. Kinda think it's dumb to nerf bullet speed to get the damage they wanted for "balance". Rather have realistic speeds since it effects you ability to use them at range.

I enjoy watching these stats updates and using the detailed informations to help me pick which weapon i end up carrying on me. One Request: was there any changes done for stats of any of the other weapons? If so could you do weapon stats update for all of the weapon after 1.19 update. I always follow your information and implement them into my game play 🎯🎯

iva managed to find 2 pioneers and the ssg at the same spot, a police situation at the southern coast where theres a small mine, diched both pioneers cuz they were badly damaged and kept the ssg that was in better conditions plus i had 2 boxes of ammo for the pioneer only to find a weapons repair kit a couple of towns later, if i had watched this video at the moment i would have kept one of the pioneer rifles and the ammo

I am blown away by this new SSG! Does pairing this with the bk-133, skorpion and Mlock, make you a full out monster as a fresh spawn?? I think so! Along with the stab vest my new favorite Loadout can be found, if lucky, all in one shot via police stations making you an absolute beast in early game!

Whats funny is a shorter barrel on a shotgun usually creates a tighter speed for buckshot, because buck is traditionally shot without a cup wad unlike bird shot. With nothing to hold the shot together the longer barrel makes it more likely for the buck to impact the sides of the barrel. Overall choke matters most, but this is assuming the bk-12 and bk-43 are cylinder bore.

@@bdg4life820 well I think there should be but want I more than life itself is a L96A1, PKM, M1014, M110 SASS, Scar H, and more attachments for guns like it would be cool if they added back the long range scope. I think we should get some military overhaul update that adds new clothing and these guns. And civilian weapons can be added as wel but it would also be cool to get a M9 Bretta, P226, 44 Magnum just so we have military and police firearms you have to find at special places

@@mrwinchester5694 some of these weapons do not match the climate of eastern europe, besides SCAR H? DAYZ doesn't happen by chance in the '90s? This game does not need modern weapons The bow and crossbow first (the essence of survival). I would prefer them to add weapons from the Eastern bloc and the one from the 1980s and 1990s, e.g. Galil, L96, CB-m2, AR70, uzi, pm rak a weapon that is in total already in the game and fits the game setting

I always thought it was a lil weird 5.45 was so underpowered. It is TECHNICALLY ballistically better than 556, but since the ammo in dayz is garbage WOLF civilian ammo and not military i can totally still see it being semi worse than 556

Hey Wobo...thanks for all your videos...so appreciated by the older in the audience...smiles. So...wondering...favorite mods? My brother and I are running a server on N itrado...small 4-person...cheap. Was tired of the shoot on sight crowd. Solved that...a little...with a private server...no other players by us...and running expansion mod with the AI plugin. Am loving it. Any suggestions for other stuff to consider adding to our server? I am pretty proficient of editing the files to make our AI act as we like. Anyway...any suggestions of other stuff to add to the server?

Very sad as usual not bringing us the two barrel over under shotgun back or a double barreled shotgun with a rifle barrel on top … German hunting rifle called drilling or at least a semi auto shotgun civilian version …. Single barrel shotgun is so unnecessary but we are used to it bohemia you are the one company who created a master piece but great it like Tetris 1990

Agree on the Pioneer. I two of them with three mags the other day in the police wrecks aside the military camp south of Turovo. I never even bothered carrying/firing either of them, even though I had a suppressor. Believe me... as a prior serviceman, I see the value of a scout rifle (the class of rifle for both the Pioneer and new CR)... but in this game, it's simply pointless. Every time I leave camp, I choose a specific mode of operation... loot, recon, or PvP. Neither the CR or Pioneer occupy a slot in those roles. If I'm looting, I don't want the sound signature. They don't have the range for recon, and they don't have the flexibility for PvP.

With the availability of the KA74 in the game and this patch giving it’s new damage buff, besides it’s bullet speed nerf I’m wondering if this will make the KAM and the 101 a bit pointless to hunt down and get when the 74 does just as well (almost) and is easier to find

5.45 is, in my opinion, harder to find than 7.62 and 5.56, specially since these last two also spawn in non military locations. This means you can pretty much travel all around the map and keep reloading mags. For KA74 tho, you will have to make frequent stops at mili locations to search for ammo.

Its kinda irritating that the most common ak is the ak74. There should be more akm spawns, or have a ka47 that has very bad accuracy, but you can find them everywhere. Because then again, I remember that ak47s are the most common gun in russia/ex soviet union countries, along side the mosin. If there was a ak47, it wouldnt have optic mounts, modular hand guards, and a removable stock. Basically the ak74 but bigger and better

i mean in arma 2 the AK74 was standard issue for the CDF, only people using the AKM in chernarus where the rebel factions so lore wise it makes sense the ak74 is the most abundant

That's a relief about the AKS 74U being ultimately the same as in 1.18. I only recently discovered that it is the go-to close-quarters knock-out gun from your earlier weapon stat videos and it's definitely performing that way in the field.

probably not, if it's how it was prior to these changes, then AKM by default is easiest to control because it spawns with recoil reducing attachments. AK101 spawns with worst recoil reducing attachments thus making it the worst to control.

It would not. They’re designed specifically to not take typical 12 guage. So at the least you’d have to modify the shell to make it shorter - but even then it will not be an effective single-shot weapon. Interestingly HK made a 26.5mm flare pistol that had an insert for firing shottie shells - but could still only fire the short stubbier 12ga (look em up, pretty cute little shells lol)

Now referring back to your longest kill video, does this now mean the ak74 is no longer the farthest firing weapon? It was the longest range caliber due to the limitation of only a 6sec flight time and the faster velocity of the 5.45 allowing it to travel farther in that time

I think the best is the Mosin at ~2000m now. The 5.45 could travel 3200m due to the low air friction, but it was fixed

So based on the health damage and shock damage chart, the ak74 is better than the akm in health damage at all ranges. And better than the akm in shock damage after short ranges. That’s just ridiculous. 7.62 x39 is a much bigger round than the 5.45. It should have much more health damage than 5.56 and 5.45 at less than 400 meters. And 9x39 needs a buff. It’s damage should be the same as a .308 below 300 meters. Have y’all seen a 9x39 cartridge? It’s huge. After 300m the damage falls off, but within 300 the damage should be similar to a .308. Maybe slightly less

It would be cool if you could load a 12ga shell in a flare gun. most flare guns are chambered in 12ga. 1 shot with buck or slug and the flar gun explodes in your hands, doing damage to the target and a little to the player as well. maybe 2 or 3 rubber slugs before it explodes in your hands
