After 10 years, I just revamped my Crisis suits to have 2x Plasma rifle, Missile launcher and shield generators. Used to only have 1 Plasma rifle + 1 missile launcer... 🤬 Great review as always!

Given the time the codex was sent to the printers the points are one to two balance datalsates out of date. Comapre the codex points costs to the early 10th edition points for the existing units and you'll see they are the same. Like all other codexes released so far in 10th there will extremely likely be a points update when the codex is available for general release. Even the new units and kroot carnivores (which got upgraded with sticky objectives) have a good chance of coming down in the points update to put them in line with the other unit points cost. For example if breachers and pathfinders are updated back to the 90 points that was in the last balance datasheet then I can't see carnivores staying at 85 points, a drop to 60 points (or 55 points as per the last datasheet) is more likely. Would be good to get your view on the new crisis variants once we have the new points.

Honestly, I progressively find GW increased speed of releases annoying. At the end of 9th I was working on SS82 style of Tau, TS and Eldar lists, including buying Codexes and Cards, but then almost immediately a new Edition came out 😢...I would have had to buy everything new and also to modify models because I Iike WYSIWYG style of play. If GW would give a stabler platform of rules, maybe online only and cheaper, maybe through an updatable App, and would lower the price of models, it would be a good thing for everyone, even GW itself... Alternative rules, games and cheaper 3D prints from online shops, will become a problem for GW in the future, if they don't adapt to the reality of the market ..🎉
