All jokes aside, as a HUGE bok and Rugby fan, I really want nothing more than a top 3 comprising of SA, AUS & NZ. Growing up this is what I have known. These are the 3 best teams. I still believe this, I wish for the Aussies to kick up a gear and be where they should. And for NZ, boks are nothing without them and vice versa. The strong competition only makes the South as strong. Can't wait for the weekend.

For a someone who has never coached a RWC winning team, Jones has a huge and some may say an undeserved super coach reputation. He was supposed to improve the Wallabies and Dave Rennie was collateral damage to make way for the messiah after he was booted from the England job after losing the last RWC final and some pedestrian performances with England. There is little doubt after the last 5 years of Super Rugby, Aussie rugby has some issues which cannot be papered over with a coach - no matter who. The next few games will tell, but on the basis of their recent performances, I'll be surprised if they make the semis. Shame really.

Time for a piece of reality for non-Australian's, the fact is this; most Australian's (South and West of New South Wales), do not follow Rugby Union, nor participate on mass, nor do they care. I had a New Zealand colleague go on about "The Rugby Championship" - I didn't even know it was on. Why is this important? I played Rugby Union at school (and a year or two after) for nearly 15 years. I know people similar to myself who like myself, moved to a Southern state some years back. I like most in this country follow League and AFL. I haven't looked at Rugby Union in years. If people like us are not following it, and the kids are not playing it, then you can see what future it has in Australia. It shrinks in size every year and soon will lose ground in Queensland.

Eddie did not have the right balance in the forwards one started with two jumpers but lost one and bought on a parttime jumper going against 3 jumpers for the boks. I also thought eddie was testing a couple of players. I still think Caydon Neville, Ned Hanigan should be going to the world cup. Well done to SA they outplayed Australia.

Stupid, unrespectful comments have a way of coming back to bite you. From what I understand Aus Rugby is struggling right now as League, Aussie Rules and cricket have organised themselves well and because SA no longer plays in Super Rugby. I loved Super Rugby as a South African but due to time differences , lack of results and the AB's not wanting the regional teams you cannot blame them for moving to the northern hemisphere competition

No big deal at all. Boks by at least 15, including a bonus point. The Oceanians (once known as the All Blacks) don't have the forwards to compete. Especially not at RWC. The Oceanians will be in the game strongly in the first half, but their forwards will be under the pump in the second half. Oh, and by the way Jeff, Pollard has always been the weak link in the Boks' backline. When comparing minutes on the field, the Bok backline have scored more tries with Jantjies at 10 than with Pollard. The latter is not a natural footballer like, for example, Damian McK (or Jantjies and Libbok for that matter), and the Boks' game plan now places much more emphasis on running the ball. No such thing as a B team. Just winning and losing. Australian Super Rugby was weak throughout the year. This is what it looks like at the international level. They'll improve. Seem to lack cohesion. Boks had truck loads of this. I thought that the Boks might hit 50+.
