Come for the violins, stay for the Yankee Moves South home improvement show! You are lucky that the vicious blizzard season is over. I'm looking forward to the first Southern wood violin build.

Haha!! Yeah..... Honestly didn't realize how upside down my life would go when I sold the place in NH. I want to stay debt free.... so.... I have to be patient! I am dying to sit in my shop and carve a fiddle.

Tremendous job on the custom kitchen. Any mistake that you can bury as well as you did, is no mistake at all. Maybe you can carve in door pulls, as opposed to external ones....

Thanks! Yes--- My wife suggested that, too! I try to stay calm and problem solve when I screw up....and I have had lots of practice.

It's going to be really difficult if you ever have to replace that water heater.

Jon, is there anything that you will not attempt? Good job on everything you have done so far. May be time for a forge. Seal the "oops" seam in the laminate so the particle board won't swell if water gets down in there. Clear 1 hour epoxy works well.

Thanks very much for the kind words-- that's a good idea. I did use a waterproof wood glue (Titebond II) on the joints, which hopefully give some security.

Good....and yes.... Been 1000 miles away for a month for weddings, etc. Sailing, Motorcycle Rallies.... I have started breaking ground for my new place...and wishing for a garage/shop. My water supply works great (the ibc totes) I am planning on feeding one from the spring, then pumping uphill. Spring slowed down, and so have some obstacles there to overcome.
