Also, his financial people already raised their concerns that THEY HAD NO ACCESS to this particular account (where Ippei was taking money from) They talked to Shohei's agent and the agent talked to Shohei THROUGH IPPEI. Ippei then said Shohei wanted the account to be left alone, which the investigation shows to be a lie. Shohei never knew the account was blocked off from his account and financial advisor. The agent made a mistake here trusting Ippei You guys are the worst journalists lol all of these things are already answered in the indictment.

Dan from Pasadena was simply saying that the DOJ DHS and FBI conducted their investigation and concluded that Ohtani was in no way involved in betting with the bookie or funded or knew anything about Ippei betting with the bookie. One thing I agree with is at least some ppl need to be fired. Based on Ohtani’s whole history since HS, he didn’t care and use his money (eg. stayed at dorms where he could have purchased a nice place etc…). His sole focus is on baseball (sleeping half the day and other half is eating well and performance). At minimum Ohtani knowingly bankrolled his friend. As a country we have become again what we once rebelled against. There is a protected class of elites in this country that are allowed to live under a different set of rules than the rest of us. These include certain politicians, entertainers, businesses executives and athletes who will be taken care of at all costs and any transgressions or crimes they may be involved in will either be excused, swept under the rug or blamed on someone or something else.

If they just read the report, they would have more interesting things to talk about 😂 Shohei was cleared because 1. he's a dumb athlete who fell into millions of dollars, he's not a financially-literate billionaire, so it was easy to take advantage of him and 2. his agency and the banks were all racist POS because they didn't bother hiring any other Japanese employees to help Ohtani's transition to the U.S., they just trusted weird little Ippei.
