The 2019 Tata Steel Masters is a 14-player single round-robin taking place from 12-27 January. For its 81st edition the tournament boasts six Top 10 players including World Champion Magnus Carlsen and former champions Vladimir Kramnik and Vishy Anand. As well as the traditional venue in Wijk aan Zee, the Netherlands, rounds will be played in Alkmaar (16 January) and in Leiden (23 January).
The time control is 100 minutes for 40 moves followed by 50 minutes for 20 moves, then 15 minutes for the rest of the game, with a 30-second increment per move from move 1. If two or more players tie for first place then a 2-game blitz (5+3) playoff and, if still tied, an Armageddon game will be held 15 minutes after all the games in the Masters and Challengers have finished, though the monetary prizes will be shared evenly. @winstonvontoast6163
@winstonvontoast6163 5 жыл бұрын
@@fahimp3 I am not sure. Season 1 was done by Studio MadHouse, while season 2 is to be done by studio JC Staff. MadHouse is notoriously known for not doing 2nd seasons of shows. As far as I know the 1st season of it was done by a lot independent contractors from another studio, which was Studio Bones. Studio Bones is working on Mob Psycho 100, which is a series written by the same person who wrote One Punch Man. Studio Bones is known for their amazing action scenes that you can see in Mob Psycho 100 and My Hero Academia. Yeah, the most obvious reasons to me seems to be Studio MadHouse not wanting to do 2nd seasons, and the people who worked on the show aren't available right now.

Reasons to subscribe 1. Clarity of voice (sounds like Boris Bedenov) which is pleasing. 2. Clarity of chess logic (helps to advance in knowledge for beginners). 3. Gives photos and background of chess masters (interesting). 4. Clear pronunciation of foreign names (intriguing). 5. Personable (Sure I’d like to meet him and have a beer). 6. Able to to laugh at himself (Capablanca familiar with opening moves?). 7. Keeps my mind active and I look forward to his next video.

More I watch these Anand games, more amazed I am. Nobody, believe me, nobody works harder on these openings & variations. There are so many beautiful new lines that he has prepared over the years. Even at this age, he is giving these boys almost half his age a run for their money. Anand himself is an institution on chess. Truly inspirational.

@@vishalsaha2145 In my opinion? One of the best to ever play the game. Easily in the debate as he was world chess champion and as we all know he is at the very top in all time controls. Which certainly isn't the case for many GMs. He's my favorite player of all times. A real gentleman. The people's champ. As for what Antonio's issue with Anand's (style) is, I couldn't comment on that. Just take this game for instance. What style is this? A brilliancy? He has many. And his immortal which Magnus called "A game for the ages". What style does a world champion have actually? Well, certainly winning a lot! Haha

It's interesting to me that Anand took 6:43 deciding to take on g6, but Mamedyarov only took 1:32 deciding to recapture with the f-pawn. I guess it was just a choice between the 2 pawns for him though: he has to recapture with one of them.

Hey Agadmator, I wanted to say thank you for all your videos because it's brought me a new passion in Chess I never really had! I used to play when I was a kid, but stopped playing as I focused on playing high level football in my country. But eventually I took a series of rough injuries and had to give it up. I recently played a friend in chess a couple times just for fun, and started getting kind of interested in Chess again, but I'm not very good, I was about 1200 rated by the time I came across one of your videos and for even someone as bad as me, I became really interested in your content. I kind of gave up playing Chess since the first couple of videos because I figured as someone who's 23 years old there's no point in trying to learn to become much better because it's too late for me. But even though I stopped playing I always watch your videos because I find them very interesting and fun. I also think I learned a lot and I feel that if I tried playing again I would start climbing up the ELO ladder slightly. But anyways, just wanted to say thanks for making your videos entertaining and informative for even amateur players like myself, it's greatly appreciated!

A quick glance through the comments didn't reveal this to me, but in case you didn't know: One Punch Man's second season is scheduled to start during the summer season of anime, so somewhere around late May to mid June. Anime is a fickle beast and often, shows aren't given additional seasons. (Anime are created basically as large advertisements for manga, Japanese comics, or Light Novels, volume-based book series)

I think Anand found refutation to b6 otb, at least it seemed like that when he was talking in the interview after the game.
